This is a place that it should be on your to do list in London for so many reasons. The view, the food, the service and the fact that it has a late night menu is fabulous. Remember to book your table

Ask for a table on the east side, which has stunning views of the Gherkin, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, and even the Olympic Village. Oh, and the Foie Gras with Nutella? Just genius.

Wonderful food. 40 stories high so you also get a really good view of London. Try the Bacon wrapped dates, Spicy Ox cheek doughnut and, The Duck and Waffle. It'll be booked up but it's worth the wait.

The food was amazing but the view made it. Recommend to share a duck and waffle between two so you can try out more of the small plates before you get stuffed. Heritage tomato (pic) was one of my favs

High on 40th Floor of The Heron, you're ensured the best bird's eye view of London, while sampling great British cuisine. Duck & Waffle, Grilled Octopus, Eggs en Cocotte, Foie Gras Creme Brûlée are 👍

If you can't make a reservation, the line in front of the building at late night doesn't take too long. Probably the only 24h restaurant in town that actually serves amazing food all the time. A gem!

Not only one on London's best breakfasts (Ox Cheek Benedict and the Cocotte are both must haves!), but the staff is abso amazing! Consider yourself lucky if you get Andre (one of London's best).

Go for duck and waffle: crispy, soft, with a hint of ginger and sweetness. Best view in London, awesome food! The best breakfast in my life, though it was difficult to find a place there.

Amazing spot in the city of London. The view, the food, the service were simply fantastic. Posh, yet comfortable atmosphere. Get yourself a table nearby the window and enjoy London at night.

The egg en cocotte is surprisingly filling. The star was finding the truffles in all the beautiful sauce. For the signature dish, it was excellent. Views are amazing, especially at night.

Make a reservation if you're going for brunch/lunch. Duck & waffle is good, but I also loved the seasonal veggies (crispy polenta, welsh goat's curd, toasted buckwheat, & pumpkin seeds)

The London view is great here. The main dish duck and waffle is not that inspiring at all. But the foie gras creme brûlée is surprisingly delicious.

Pigs ears, ox cheek doughnut and duck and waffle were all delicious :) cocktail was definitely not worth £14 though. Service is friendly and waiters are constantly topping you up with free water.

Great bar/restaurant. Loved their outside rooftop bar. Very smart and cosy place with a small fire outside. Amazing cocktails and great views of the city from the glass lift.

Spectacular view! Amazing view to get a table by the right hand side in the restaurant. If you couldn't get a chance to book a table just pop in earlier to buy a luck.

D&W is one of some experiences that will make you realise how lucky you're to visit/live in London. While being basked in luxury, the elevator ride to the top of Heron Tower is the first fun perk here

The waiter mixed salmon with duck waffles but was very kind and replayced the order immediately! Very fresh and unique ingredients. Home made nutella-organic and pink grapefruit juice

Take in the panoramic view of the city while sipping a house Julep. Food is solid too, with British offal dishes done well. – Green Guide Editor

Absolute splendour from the 40th floor of the Heron Tower. Get the duck and waffle (obviously), enjoy the view and try not to worry about the bill. Book a table in advance.

Amazing view, amazing food, great cocktails and it's open all around! Try to reserve a table by the window on a clear day and everything will be perfect.

Restaurant with a Scenic view overlooking London city. Don't order their signature dish and go straight fr other mains. Their Pasta is delicious but the star was really their rosemary garlic bread.

If you can score eating here during sunrise/sunset, then you're solid. You'll literally be 50 floors up overlooking London. From the Tower Bridge to Big Ben, you can see it all from different angles

Confit duck leg, fried duck egg, two perfect waffles, and mustard maple syrup - sounds like it shouldn't work but it does! Also, try braised ox cheek donut with apricot jam, not your usual brunch...

Get up early during the week for breakfast at sunrise here, it's awesome. Be sure to make a reservation for a specific table: 63. Don't try it during weekends (drunk people from the night before).

GQ recommends: The duck and waffle. Two brilliantly fluffy waffles, a generous slab of crisp-skinned duck confit, a fried duck egg and a jug of spiced maple syrup. Restorative and delicious.

The elevator ride to the top is just as smooth as this place, a glass of Veuve with a side of pigs ears overlooking london's greatest scenery, almost in heaven..literally.

Great views. Delicious food - ox cheek donut and rosemary bread a must! Duck and waffle - of course! And great service - one of our orders wasn't available so we got a complimentary carpaccio.

The best view in London; breathtaking! Signature dish "duck & waffle" is ok. Foie gras creme brûléea, potato & leek gratin and smoked mozzarella salad are to die for. On the expensive side.

Being a pescatarian, this was probably the wrong place to come for food. Jack's Wife Freda in NYC made me fall in love with Shakshuka. D&W's made me fall out of love...The view is pretty ace though!

Nice view and atmosphere. The duck and waffle is a must try (not because it's the best dish ever, but it's good and you'll only eat it here). Worth a visit, a bit too expensive though.

Absolutely incredible. The view - the food - the cocktails. Make sure you get the Duck & Waffle and wash it down with the Coconut Old Fashion.

Ask for food amount in each dish first, as some are quite small. But definitely a great place. Wifi, outstanding views, good food & desserts. Don't miss Duck & Waffle, roasted octopus and torrejas!

Best after midnight, you'll get seated quickly & they're relaxed about drunkeness once you're up there. ALWAYS get the Duck & Waffle, and pigs ears for the table. Don't bother with the Ox cheek
