The southern exit has one of the longest escalators around!
Keep to the righthand side of the escalator please, tourists.
make sure you know what direction you are heading in advance before you leave the station. It makes a big difference in walking around the circle if you pick the right exit from the start.
Try to avoid rush hour... Folks don't know how to act...
Don't walk up the stairs unless you want a calf workout.
Walk the escalator. You need the exercise...
great cardio workout
Don't stand one stair away from someone on the escalator unless you're family or dating. Otherwise, you're in my personal space, especially if you have the world's giantest bag!
The DC Metro system is awful, unreliable and expensive. It is a source of shame for the nation.
Doors open on the right.
When the escalator is down its. crappy
one of the ones
Standing? Get to the right side of the escalator.
Escalators: right side is for walking left side is for standing...when they're operating of course.
Elevator closed = nightmare
These will be the only working escalators for a while.
Cafe Circa has awesome HH and a good crowd
On warm sunny days & snowy winters: this is the cultural hub of the city.
Get your ride on
The exit looks like the stairway to heaven... very cool view
On the DC Metro's Red Line. Has 2 entrances--north (Q St.) and south (19th St.). The south entrance has an incredibly long escalator, but you can read a great Walt Whitman quote along the way!
It's best to be here 15 mins b4 they close.oryou will miss the last train.
Smart trip is now WAY slow ever since they upgraded the software to charge more during rush hour
Walk up the escalator for extra exercise... It's no joke lol
Take the time to read the quote around the entrance as you go up or down the long escalator
Stand on the right, walk if you dare.
The south entrance tunnel is like a brutalistic entrance to bell
Just saw a mouse on the platform!
Exiting the station during rush hour is a gamble. Losing such a gamble means you get to have a pretty serious short-burst cardio work out
1 of the oldest & least climate-controlled stations. Dress accordingly.
Not for those afraid of heights!
Watch for escalator breakdowns they are all too frequent
Metro on the weekends blows!
It is the warmest station!!!!
Watch out. The late night metro attendant doubles as Cunty McCunterson on fridays.
Hit the Dupont Farmers Market on Sundays, right by the entrance. The best place to get fresh peaches & the croissants are delish!
Everyone needs to buy their own card. Apparently you can't share.
People in DC are flat out retarded and can't follow simple rules.. Especially on the metro.

Always hot during the summer.
Dupont Circle is a very lively part of the district. When I am getting off at this station, I know I am in for good food or drinks at one of the many great establishments within walking distance.
A little bit impaired!
A little bit impaired
I'M BACK DC BITCHES!!!!!
SIGH. North escalator up is out of service.
Best place to disembark! Lots of places to eat as you get off the escalator. Love this area!
Escalators are kind of steep and long. Hand rail and escalator are not perfectly synced which is kind of trippy!
19th entrance is open!
