Great for people watching. Benches, trees, fountain, speed chess, skateboarders, musicians, Scientology tent, snow fights, war protests. This center of the Dupont Circle neighborhood has seen it all.
Love hanging out and eating lunch on the circle! Always a lot of people out. Fun to people watch.
Best place for any DC public gathering event, been here several times; the recent event was World Cup watch between USA and Germany, great game, great people!

There is a city of mole men living under the circle in the old streetcar station. Google it! MOLE MEN.
Contrary to popular belief, no longer a true gayborhood. The gays have long since gentrified it and moved elsewhere while yuppies from Arlington have been pouring in for years.
