If you're trying to get a west bound train from Platform 3 during evening rush hour, don't try and get on via the first two doors as everyone else does and it gets too crowded. Move down the train.

The trains are never on time except for the one you just miss. Without exception.
If u r in hurry, avoid district line: too slow
Don't park in the parking right at the entrance of the station. A blond girl or her colleague usually standing in front of Holland & Barrett will take a photo of your plate and send you a nice fine.
Wear headphones if you have them and you won't have to listen to the sarcastic, patronising and sometimes stroppy station announcer in the mornings.
if you get a fine for parking outside, don't pay it, it's unenforceable. you will get 4 threatening letters and they leave you alone. they also can't affect your credit rating without going to court.
Exit the station, turn left and walk down the hill. Enjoy the smell of the sweet waffles from the Metro Cafe!
Late nights when its cold if your heading to Reading/Oxford theres a cosy warm waiting room on the platform as welll as free wifi access
They need to ban smoking at the front entrance to the station. It's rank coming in and out of here and breathing the fumes.

People who queue 15 deep to board a train at peak hour, stop being muppets and walk down the train to use other doors.
Annoyingly there isn't an departure clock visible from platform 9 so check departure times from the concourse.
