This hot spot combines Chinese cooking w/ New England ingredients thanks to Chinese-American chef Phillip Tang. What 2 order:braised lamb cannelloni w/ chili garlic sauce, Honeycrisp apple & mizuna.
ExNE was named one of the "The Top 6 Places to Taste the New Asian Fusion" by Bon Appetit. In-house noodles, dumplings and bao blow away the competition, of which there is little. [Eater 38 Member]
Smoked Pork meatballs are like eating a campfire... So smoky delicious!
Crispy pork belly on mantou bread? Don’t be intimidated by the menu—everything is delicious. Every noodle is made in house, and all ingredients are sourced from local producers.
The chef is meticulous, tasting everything before it hits the table. Fun to watch from the bar. Try the thick noodles w pork ragout, Jonah crab shumai and the deliciously bitter grapefruit-jasmine coc
Don't get the scallion pancakes, but do get a noodle dish
8 course tasting menu is the way to go. Try their tequila speciality drink as well.
Great date spot. Yummy!
So delicious! Do the 5 course tasting menu--so much food. Do whatever your waitress tells you; she's right!
The five course prix fixe menu is a steal! You will leave stuffed.
I love what they can do with heritage pork. amazing amazing things. the thick homemade noodles are a treat. And the cocktails are quite good as well. btw Chinese restaurant doesn't quite describe it.
homemade rooibos tea-infused vodka with lemon and honey!
Small and intimate, this Cambridge spot offers made-from-scratch noodles and dumpling wrappers with a flavorful medley of modern Chinese flavors. Choose anything on the menu - you can't go wrong.
Smokey delight. The chef is absurdly talented. Not a single bad choice on the menu -- but he's known for the pork belly and confit.
