People tend to check in during these times:
Awesome spot with great acts. Be sure to double check if your ticket is for the Echo or Echoplex. Heads up the staff won't let you in and out even with a wristband. Photobooth & ATM inside 👌🏼🤘🏼
Sweaty. Packed like sardines. Better to go to The Whiskey, The Roxy or The Troubador if you want to sweat with a bunch of people around you. Cheap though. Feels like The Glass House in Pomona.
Don't come here if you don't like getting uncomfortably close to a lot of people at once. Beer fests here are super fun, sound is okay, bring cigarettes because you'll want to smoke them.
Although the sound and layout leave much to be desired, the Echoplex has hosted some of the best LA music nights of past 5 years. Consistent sounds.
The bouncer cussed me out and physically threatened my boyfriend. I do not feel safe at a venue that allows their employees to treat patrons in this way. Customers should be respected, not threatened.
Great fucking venue. My favorite place. From part-time punks to bootie LA to CYP2 to having the Rolling Stone play here for $20. Any night is a good night.
Go To Bootie LA the first Saturday night of every month. They spin awesome mash-ups, never a line, and a casual, fun atmosphere.
See the random valet? And the Security guard? that alley is where you enter. Order two Boots pizza from the bar and drink and dance.
The go to spot for metal bands playing in LA. Unfortunately the acoustics behind the sound booth leave something to be desired.
Nice size venue that host good Indie bands and has good lighting...but the sound system completely blows.
The sightlines aren't so great, but the sound is normally on point. Go early, stand in the front.
Bootie LA - you gotta go listen to some of the best mashups being spun anywhere! DJ Paul V is the shit! First Saturday of the month - 9-2am.
DRIPPING with 80s excess: mirrors, neon, and gaudy colors everywhere... and some of most consistently great touring bands and DJ nites.
The"free drink" at checkin is apparently for the mayor only. They don't want your phone number or email for marketing purposes.
Go the first or third Saturday of the month for the best dancing. Mash-up heaven at Bootie, LA.
Use the door on the left of the stage to sneak backstage and steal the Bands free beer!
Bootie LA is one of the best times you can have in LA. Everyone dances like no one is watching.
This larger club sometimes gets some bigger acts like Nine Inch Nails.
I love their mash ups! Best dance party ever! Can't wait for July!!!!!
I ALWAYS spend less inside when you charge me to get in. That only makes sense.
Great bands, friendly staff and the the sound guy that usually works Part Time Punks is hot.
Could just be this event but the entrance/line for shows @ Echoplex are on Glendale not Sunset.
Great place to check out local bands & DJ's on weekend club nights.
get a $4 PBR in pint glass (made of plastic lol)
They have free water at the ends of the bars. Stand by a fan for fresh air.
Come out for the Down & Derby roller disco!! It's amazing! One thursday a month.
Great spot to take in a free Monday night residency!
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion at the echoplex #tbt90s
It's on!! #JamNFunk #RichMedina #FelaKuti with wifey @homasafar, @Kristianranker @KaoticBlaze & #Paul.
LA band A house for Lions is ready for a big year with a residency at the Echoplex.
Great rock club for the 18+ crowd. Get ready to dance and rock out!
Best Venue to see THE ROLLING STONES!!!
They have chocolate chip cookies at the bar!
make sure you know you're drinking Shocktop and not Blue Moon.
Here's a Tip. Add more pure filth sound at all events.
Just saw one of the best concert I have ever been: Skrillex :]
$6 tall can of Sopporo on mondays :)
they serve Point the Way IPA from Golden Road
Insider Info: They have CANS of Fat Tire at the bar.
Bulleit at the main bar, not the small bar.
Skrillex, 12th planet, diplo, franki chan 1/25/2012
Expect overpriced drinks.
