    Want to avoid paying 30p for the toilet? Just ask them if they have change of a £5/£10 note. They always just let you in for free as the change machines just take coins. Don't do this often though!

    If there are no cabs, or a large queue, walk up the ramp to waverley bridge - there is a taxi rank there and some cab companies can't go into the station itself.
