Get the fried lamb intestines-fried so finely that they've curled and buckled in the heat, becoming golden brown & crisp. They taste like lamb potato chips-dip them in the tart chile sauce on the side
The uni panini is something completely on its own: creamy sea urchin, heat from the mustard oil … a small sandwich made me feel like I was getting so much. - Jeffrey Saad, United Tastes of America
New dishes include dirty rice with rabbit, flash-fried shell-on shrimp, and soft scrambled eggs with sea anemone. Favorites from the old menu are still available, and they plan to serve lunch soon.
some of the best tapas i've had outside of spain! great date atmosphere - cozy and intimate and really friendly staff.
Cute, European atmosphere, a little small though - perfect for a couple.
get the noodle paella
An excellent tapas joint; don't miss the uni sandwich or patatas bravas.
Try the Uni Panini
Get the uni panini, it's sinfully good! Small place but totally adorable!
Get the Horchata.... and an Uni Panini.
Watch out - portions are small!
The tongue, soft scrambled eggs with anemone, and uni panini are all amazing- the anemone especially cooks up like a nice clam belly or sweetbread. Also, bet you can't say uni panini five times fast.
The Uni Panini
The uni panini. Order one. Then order more. Mmmmmm
Tempranillo (Finca Resalso) is delicious
Octopus terrine & Uni panini.
Ponchos morunos, nuestras bravas and EQP gambas al ajillo are standouts. Also try the pomada cocktail!
Fedua. Try it. Eat it. Love it!
the sea urchin "panino", OMG I've died and gone to tapas heaven!
The "bag of bacon" is sort of a cross between bacon and pork rinds. I order a second bag and ate it myself.
Basque tapas/pinxtos. From Eater: All of the tapas are worth trying, but make sure to order the uni panini, fideua, and braised tongue.
The Uni Panini is out of this world delicious... definitely one of the top 6 things to put in your mouth in NYC
Come early leave late
Eder Montero and Alex Raj recently expanded their Basque tapas parlor. All of the tapas are worth trying, but make sure to order the uni panini, fideua, and braised tongue. [Eater 38 Member]
uni panini, Lang Whitaker rec
Date vibes in the back but don't neglect the bar. Sweet staff with excellent recommendations...bravas and squid in its own ink owww owww
Don't sit at the bar unless you want a view of the kitchen (hint: microwave!). Can someone please buy them a curtain? Been coming here for three years and still an issue. Great cocktails though.
The pomadas are amazing. I will never tire of them!
Small, but great food. Try their frozen gin drink & patatas bravas.
Don't come in a group of more than two or three, because a) you won't be able to sit together and b) you won't want to share.
Late night food: closes at 1am
Tapas, only open in the evenings though.
Don't miss the lomo! So good and flavorful. Skip the sangria and go for the Spanish wines or the frozen gin basil lemonade.
La Granacha: Camino de Navaherros for a light fruity red with a touch of spice, intentionally served cold. fun.......
A small wine bar & cafe serving up Ensaimadas (larded sweet rolls), tapas, churros & submarino de Chocovic (hot chocolate). Luv their Bikini
Reminds me of the best in Madrid, Barca & SanSe (the best pintxos!) Get: Veal bone marrow! Spanish sausage and white anchovies! Pringá - braised meat sandwich. Warning: must share with others!
One more thing, the service is splendid here!
Lomo bocadillo is great. Gazpacho is a creamy delight. Get also patatas bravas. Gambas were ok, pulpo was a bit rubbery, not like in Spain. Definitely wash ur meal down with excellent sangria!
Wondeful anchovies, which sounds weird but true. Order with the garlic/tomato bread. And the shrimp dish is amazing.
Make no mistake... For years advertised as one of the best 'sandwiches' in the city, the uni panini is a mere breadstick. A sublime, would-kill-your-own-mother-to-get-one breadstick.
