El Toro Blanco bets on a trifecta of 100-plus tequila selections, a Mexican menu that sees traditional dishes, and a fashionable ambience.
Get their raspberry tequila sangria, their Mexican street corn, sweet plantains in mole & crema, & churros!
Service VERY slow and incredibly disorganized, as if they don't have enough staff. Don't recommend. On par with a Dos Caminos.
Incredible margaritas, nachos, and chorizo queso fundido
Come at happy hour for high quality drinks and bites (chips, guac, and tacos) at great prices
Happy hour nachos are worth making time for.
Pretty good tacos.
Great food, drinks and kids friendly
Tacos are delicious, solid Mexican street food
Overall, very average. Elote is great though.
The empanadas were great
Trendy, sceney and the food was OK. I imagine the former outweighs the latter.
Delicious, flavorful Mexican cuisine. Be sure to try the guacamole varieties, tacos, ensaladas (great for anyone looking for a healthier option) and specialty margaritas! Brunch is awesome too!
Good tacos. Love the outdoor seating
Better of going to rosa Mexicanos. This place was nothing special.
Great, spirited fresh Mexican fare. Generous guacamole portions and a solid brunch menu. Al pastor tacos are brilliant.
This is pretty good Mexican food and I really enjoyed my meal. That said there are better places in NYC.
Pretty ridiculous guac. Don't pass it up.
I'll dream about this michelada!!
Came for brunch and it was fantastic! Def get the plantains and Colorado guac!!
Great food and good for brunch. They take reservations.
Shrimp tacos! Guac! Mid-century / Palm Springs vibe! Tequila.
Get the guacamole!! Yum. And the habanero salsa was just the right type of spicy! Paired with margaritas, you can't go wrong.
Churros and braised short rib empanadas
Had high expectations, but the service was horrible!
Shrimp Tacos & Guacamole rock!!
Overpriced and slow service. However, it has outdoor seating, which is cool.
Very good Mexican, great seafood dishes.
Short rib empanadas. Get lots of plates to share and go for brunch if you can.
Only been here for happy hour, but it's a good deal for both snacks and cocktails.
If you love Mexican food this is the place for you. The guacamole and chops were freshly made. There's nothing about this place I didn't love.
Mole. Guacamole. Margaritas.
The food is great, the service is great, their margaritas are great... What else you need?
The guacamole w/ the house-made chips were so good! The tacos were only so-so, but free refills on the chips
It's better than Dos Caminos. That's as high as I'm willing to go with my praise.
great flavors and execution plus fresh produce = a memorable experience. Definitely try the skirt steak and the tuna ceviche. Portions are not huge but still well worth the money. Def coming back
Service was completely terrible. I'd never go again. Food was good, but small portions and overpriced by at least 15%. Reinforces why I would never eat here again.
Truly awful service. Decent food.
Shockingly bad service. Food is decently tasty but overpriced.
Never speak of El Toro Blanco. Unless of course you’re talking about my 17lb Chinchilla of the same name. Everyone loves hearing about his hijinks.
The latest venture from John McDonald and Josh Capon, the team behind the crowd-pleasing SoHo establishments Lure Fishbar and Burger & Barrel Winepub. Tampiqueña, Al Pastor, Pollo en Mole Coloradito.
Loved my mango margarita, and in terms of food the corn tamales and empanadas are really standout.
Monday night 3-course prixe fixe dinner for $28
Lobster tacos, and don't forget to pay with cover.
Start with the guacamole and split with a group of friends. You can't go wrong with any of the tacos on the menu. Try the Cabritos and pay with Cover!
Start with the guacamole and then try any of the tacos. I suggest the Cabritos. And don't forget to pay with Cover!
Open faced quesso ! So yummy
Chile rubbed mango margarita, delicious.
The happy hour nachos are only available from 3 to 7pm on weeknights, but they are some of the best in town.
