Val-Kill, the only national park site dedicated to a First Lady, was the retreat of Junior League volunteer and UN Delegate, Eleanor Roosevelt.
This is very different than the Roosevelt mansion on Rt. 9. In order to get a more complete understanding of Franklin & Eleanor, you need to tour both locations.
