A great view over the city from the top. A definite must see.
Long line in the afternoon. You might have to wait 45+ min.
Good view. Very popular.. But in lusbon a lot of better points ti view the city
Good to see since you're in Lisbon. The waiting line smells like fart...and shit :)
Not worth the price - walk around and enjoy the view for free
outstanding view of the city. you may have the illusion that it is a low height elevator, but it is not!
Nice view over Lisbon. A bit expensive at 5 euros for one trip though. But still something that has to be done!
Not really worth waiting in the cue
I didnt like it Its not that good I would be sorry if i didnt go with card and pay
we chose to don't spend money to visit!!! there are a lot OF panoramic view to see the skyline of the city
Free with Vigem card
Walk to the top and ride it down. Far less queues than down below...
Good views from the top.
If a big line to enter really not worth waiting, otherwise - one more pretty nice view of Lisbon.
Excellent views over the center of Lisbon. Lovely Eiffel influenced style in the elevator itself. Forget the ride down, just walk out the back to the street.
Not that special. Actually only worth visiting when having a Lisboa Card, so you don't have to pay the ride. Rather walk up the stairs at Calçada do Carmo to Largo do Carmo.
Strange sight,It looks like a small elevator, with low altitude, but when you reach the top of it,you´ll think that magic has hapened, because you will see one of the moust spetacular Lisbon views.....
Better than climbing
Ignore the queue to go up. Enter from the top ( next to museu do carmo). It's free and you can take the lift down with your day or monthly ticket. Great views.
Only take this if you've bought the day ticket as this counts as public transport. It is not worth the €5 on it's own.
Really nice way to view the city...you can even pay to go higher.
Nice, but a bit overrated. View is good, but you can also walk there and then you see more of the city.
do the math: a single ride up costs €5. a metro day pass costs €6.10 & gets you to and from the attraction. plus you can ride it as many times as you like! don't bother paying €3 for the view point
Don't pay for the enterance..there's a free access.Don't miss the night view♥
For all those wondering if waiting in long line and paying for the ticket is worth it- absolutely! Even with many splendid miradouros in the city, this experience beats them all. My best Lisbon moment
Nice to go by elevator but walking is nice as well + you see some nice exclusive stores on the way up.
Too much expensive if you don't have the daily travel ticket (5€). 30-45 min to wait and the ascension lasts something like 30 seconds. Think well about it.
Adore adore adore. Morning or sunset, the views to old Lisbon are stunning
Designed by Mesnier Ponsard, it is the only vertical lift in LX. The st lift was inaugurated on 10th july 1902 and it was straw powered. On 6th november 1907, it was equipped with electrical motors.
Free with the Lisboa card. If you don't have a card it costs 10 euro to the top.
The long line is deceiving - just wait it out. The lift comes every 5 minutes or less
The view is breathtaking, the ride is not. Don't waste 20 minutes in line, go to the viewpoint from the cathedral upstairs directly.
Built in 1902 by a pupil of Gustave Eiffel, this was one of three elevators to facilitate commercial deliveries in the hilly city. Admire the design and the views it offers of Baixa and Rossio.
I've waited 30 minutes in line. Each time the elevator goes up, it takes 20 people. But who has the Viva transportation card, doesn't pay entrance.
Santa Justa Lift was designed by Raul Mesnier de Ponsard, an engineer born in Porto, was an apprentice of Gustave Eiffel. Dont take it, rip off. You can access free way to the top by Largo do Carmo
The Santa Justa Lift (or Carmo Lift) is another urban lift attraction in Lisbon. Made of cat iron, this connects Baixa and Bairro Alto. You can get amazing views of the Tagus River from here.
build by a pupil ob NOBEL a must to take the elevator and to have that view on Lisbon's historical center. take pictures.
Its 5€ for the elevator and includes ticket to go up the viewing point which is normally 1.50€ if you want to save money you can walk around it and just pay the entrance.
You can get there rounding some houses instead of paying.
Designed by Gustave Eiffel, 5€. The view from the top is amazing, a Lisbon must.
Nice view. Great to see the city and take beautiful pictures.
View from lower level
Nice way to get to higher level in town. Public transpotation, so included in your metro day ticket
A vista panorâmica da cidade de Lisboa é linda! Vale super a pena!
