I got a spicy crispy chicken sandwich. It was pretty tasty! The spicy sauce they bring is sort of like buffalo sauce. Definitely get a milkshake for dessert! Zech was a great server!

Come here for the entertainment, not the food. Very touristy but worth the visit. The food is forgettable, the singing waiting staff is not. Had the Walter Cronkite waygu beef burger and carrot cake.

  • Joy T.

The food is hit or miss here but the entertainment is A++. Great restaurant for any theater lover. The Chicken Pot Pie is the best thing I've tried on the menu so far.

The food was alright but the vibe was amazing. P.S. If you tweet them you can see your tweet on the TVs in the diner. Now there's a picture of me with a Shrek backpack that will appear there for a bit

The waitstaff's performing show tunes is worth the wait and the food is just ok. But you should come for the entertainment. I will come back every time after or before I see a show on broadway

This place is amazing. And so fun. The waiters and waitresses are aspiring broadway performers and sing while they wait on you. Great family atmosphere!! Arrive early or expect to wait in long lines.

    Zach Lonsinger · August 6, 2014

The desserts are awesome we had the Red Velvet cake and the Rainbow cookie sundae. The next table was raving about the whoopee pies. We had pasta dishes which were surprisingly good. Singers R GREAT

Touristy but in a good way. If you come as part of class trip for lunch, I suggest getting the grilled chicken sandwich or Caesar salad. Stay away from the chicken strips or pasta pommodora w chicken,

chocolate shakes are the best-not too milky or too sweet, make it a mudslide & it's on. salmon is always cooked perfectly. get brownies to go (heaven!). have fun w/live ent by the singing waitstaff!

A diner with waitstaff (Broadway hopefuls) who belt show tunes? I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, but the food was horribly below average and expensive. Worth the experience once though.

FUN! Great family friendly entertainment. Mediocre food, but I can overlook that when my 9 year old could barely stop grinning or singing along to the songs. Will definitely return next time in NYC!

Ok, it's touristy, the food is average, but it's fun! The staff are having so much fun, singing almost non stop. It's like walking into an episode of Glee. If that's your thing, you'll love it

The servers were awesome! The burgers were OK, could be better Can't go wrong with a great sing-a-along or serenade!! Would definitely return for the entertainment and the milkshakes!

For lunch, the portions are HUGE. Got a sandwich and three different sides. The sound system is waaaay too loud. It is really touristy but could be fun if you are with a group of willing friends.

If you can manage it, endeavor to sit on the first floor of this place. The sound of the singing wait staff tends to get washed out on the second floor.

Despite being touristy, this place is so much fun. Amazingly talented singers and solid diner food. Overall, a great place for a unique experience

The wait staff sing songs while you eat. The prices are not to expensive but it's Manhattan. My family didn't mind the prices and the singing was very good. I'll go again for sure.

  • Hi There!

If you can, try to request a table downstairs or if upstairs, along the railing overlooking the downstairs area. Along the wall upstairs, we couldn't see a lot of what was going on.

Always entertaining. Hats off for being so entertains while still keeping up with the there customers at the same time. I saw a waiter deliver drinks to a table while still singing!

Don't come here if you are hungry, have a hangover or cannot tolerate egomania. Come here if you are lonely and want to escape the voices in your head or if you want to breakup with someone come here.

We love Ellen's! Come here every time we visit New York. It is loud but SO much fun. The wait staff are all Broadway-hopefuls and they make the experience totally worth it.

Very touristy spot. The singers are incredible! They are very talented and know how to put on a show while waiting tables :) but be ready to wait in line at the door.

Food is ok, but nothing is really over the top. But you will come here to listen to some great waiters singing. And it's an awesome experience

Your kids will be entertained. That's good. The singing will distract you from the coffee which you'd otherwise refuse. That's bad. The food is ok but that's not why you're coming anyway.

For those saying it is overpriced, there is a McDonald's and Olive Garden across Broadway. For the rest of us, this is the best, most fun spot near Times Square.

Bad service, food is meh, and the untalented staff is painfully noisy. Also, they are not upfront with the house rules: be aware you gotta order at least $10 per person: no sharing! Tourist trap.

We had fun but I wouldn't recommend going here if you have other things you need to do, or if you need to be somewhere at a specific time. Maybe make it your last stop.

The Pasta Pommadora with Chicken was not good. The food was cold, chicken was dry, and the sauce was from a can containing little seasoning. I would not recommend this dish to anyone!

This place is proof of hell on earth. You eat stale diner food while show tunes are blared in your face amidst obnoxious 50's decor. I'd rather stick a fork in my eye than ever go back.
