    12 million immigrants came through Ellis Island between 1892 - 1954. We had more then that cross into the USA as illegals and when Arizona tried to stop this flow... The DOJ sued to stop that action.

    If you enjoy seeing everything a venue has to offer...be on the first ferry in and be prepared to spend the better part of the day exploring this historic and often emotional landmark.
