Elote! Corn is taken off the cob and served with lime/chicken stock reduction
The best restaurant in Sedona, but still mediocre food. Good cocktails though.
The pork cheeks are fantastic!
Great favors, expect to wait
Elote appetizer is amazing!
Well worth it. Delicious food. We had the Elote, guacamole, pork tamal, and smoked chicken enchiladas. All were amazing. The margaritas are also very good and they have a nice selection of tequilas.
The food is great but the hour to two hour wait is rough. Why don't they use both patios to expedite service
Smoked chicken is the best worth the wait 👍👍
A Fodors choice and completely deserving. Try the elote (a creamy corn salsa)...a hit with everyone at the table. And the scallops were corn crusted and flash fried to perfection.
The salsa was incredible. The lamb was enough to split with someone, and had a tasty sauce.
The wait was an hour but there's a bar you can order drinks from an a patio seating area. The smoked pork cheeks were amazing and so tender. The elote was good, but not as amazing as described by all.
Oh my, such an amazing meal. The namesake street corn is a great start. Smoked pork cheeks are a fine entree. Oh, the kids menu is as good as the regular menu. Plus the margaritas, and the cookbook.
Ask for The El Keno Margarita.
Try the elote corn and the pork cheeks were great.
Green corn tamale appetizer and carnitas for the entree and Crepes for dessert
Try the Green Corn Tamal or the Etole
I'm commenting again...this place just rocks. Go here if you are in town!
The lamb. Holy cow!
Worth every second of the wait. The elote is amazing to start but you MUST try the ahi tacos. Order 2x if you have more than 2 people. And the lamb is an absolute must have. 5 stars!
Must try the green corn tamale, carne asada, and crepas for desert.
As everyone here says "the elote" is a must and I agree. Limited vegetarian options.
Great food, gets busy fast.
Best Restaurant on my entire trip to AZ. GET THE ELOTE!
Go for the Crepas
Halibut mole was AMAZING.
Order the Elote (Mexican street corn)! It's absolutely delicious. Don't let the old hotel exterior fool you..the inside is awesome!
Split an appetizer with your date, I recommend the Carne Asada and Carnitas, then split the Crepas de Cajeta.
Best M Mexican food I have had since Lad Cruces, New Mexico
Elote appetizer is a MUST!! Also, very good margaritas!! Hint: try their free popcorn while you wait. .. very unique and flavorful.. if you like the seasoning(and you will) they have it for purchase
Worst Mexican restaurant ever...major let down.
Elote CORN appetizer is exquisite
Not worth the wait. Food was average. Margaritas good.
Awesomely strong margaritas! The food is hot from the kitchen mmmm...
We got there at 8:30pm and walked right in :D...Food was great! Margaritas Amazing! We had the Blood Orange & Cucumber specials!
The elote dip is divine.
A cup of decaf Firecreek house-roasted coffee and the Canela ice cream is the perfect finish to any of the excellent entrees...
Arrive no later than 6 to be seated between 6:30 and 7:00
Dinner with Joe Biden. Pork cheek is the bees knees.
They should pay people to eat here. Go anywhere else. Even Chevy's slays this place.
Enchiladas were great. I would never wait 1.5 hours for that again though. Go right when it opens!
When there is a long wait go next door to Mooney's Irish pub and come back to Elote
Best authentic Mexican food ever. The wait is WELL worth it. The FEW people that said it is not are absolutely clueless.
The ginger margaritas are the best
White peach margarita is amazing!
Ask for the ginger margarita. Fresh!
Long wait. The food had great flavor - but was luke warm. Skip the "roasted" beet salad - pretty much 3 slices of pickled beets with some greens.
Everything is great!
It's an hour and a half wait so put your name on the list and head next door over to Mooney's Irish Pub and have a few drinks while you are waiting.
Long wait...average food. Not worth it.
Sooooo worth the wait. Must get the Elote dip. Best Mexican food I've ever had, and I'm an AZ native. A must eat place in Sedona.
