The Elysian was founded in 1995 by Dick Cantwell (President/Head Brewer), Joe Bisacca (CFO/Head of Operations) and David Buhler (Sales & Marketing Director). Our first Seattle location, a 220-seat beer hall and our main brewery, opened in 1996 on Capitol Hill, Seattle’s most po...
Have the Jasmine IPA.
drink some local brews
October? order the great pumpkin!
Get a table on the main floor. You'll feel more a part of the action.
Get the sweet potato curry! It's amazing.
Oasis Plate. Do it. No questions.
If its fall, Dark O The Moon is a must (so is the Great Pumpkin). Both have medaled at the Great American Beer Fest.
BBQ pork sandwich and a pitcher of beer. Do it. Good stuff!
Lots of great vegetarian options.
Try the XOXO Chocolate Chile Stout!
Dragonstooth Stout. Best stout. Get one.
If you like amazingly rich food, try the Steak Frites with Bleu Cheese sauce. It's soooo good! Also: the craft brews here are fantastic!
Elysian Brewery...Need I say anything more? Great size! Good for groups and yummy food too! Oh did I mention their seasonal brews? Pumpkin Ale. I've died and gone to Heaven.
Outstanding beer, great food, friendly staff. Must see!
One of my favorite local breweries. Try to get your lips on the Cyclops. It's a seasonal barley wine that's potent - one glass will make you tingle. Also has tasty hummus and a great atmosphere.
Bête Noel is my new favorite holiday beer
If you wanna wait a million years for food this is your place.
The Avatar Jasmine IPA is just phenomenal. Get it on draft if available.
Just tried the 10th release of the Apocalypse this year, Blight Pumpkin Ale. Freakin' delicious @7.4% too. You gotta try it.
Used to come here quite a bit before all the recent neighborhood gentrification & haven't lived in Seattle for years, but I come back every time I visit & it's just as great as ever.
See Jay on Monday or Tuesday. Dont be rude or ask him dumb questions.
The death sauce for the wings is fantastic!
go to elysian fields and get hassled for trying to bring back a keg and getting the deposit back.
So...it used to be a reasonable place to visit and expect great service/a great atmosphere. As of late, it sucks. If you want a corner bar with shit ass attitude and lame ass service, come here.
The Great Pumpkin Ale is good but Mortis Sour Persimmon Ale is probably the best beer I've had in my life. So, get that.
Unlike the rest of the people, I personally didn't like the pumpkin beer... It was pretty strong and left a strong after taste that was unpleasant.
Great specialty cocktails and cider (if you can't drink beer). And the fish tacos were to die for (and gluten-free)!
Always check for beers they might only make once--you might never get to try them again.
Try the Beer!
Night Owl Pumpkin Ale. Enough said.
Not Awesome! Manager is a JERK!
Try the beer.
My favorite beer in the city... Superfuzz!
nachos r yummmmmmy
If you are a fan of craft beer, you MUST go here when in Seattle.
Loser pale ale is not for losers. Damn good beer.
The food was the worst ever!! The only thing any one like was the beer. We have not been back.
Capitol Hill neighborhood
The split pea soup is Devine!
All the beers are amazing, but definitely try The Fix. You'll be wide awake for hours.
The poutine is always bombing here.
