The homemade Twix bar was a let down.
Treats of all sizes for sweet teeth large and small. Loved the apricot walnut thumbprint
Bought an assortment of cupcakes. Really liked the fluffy red velvet one. This place also has deliciously unique cookies.
Made a beautiful birthday cake for my daughter while we were visiting NYC. Very easy to deal with by email and phone....and delivered on time.
Best scones and muffins in town. Oh and the salted caramel cake.
Amazing bakery, terrific cupcakes, stunning cakes!
Tried the vanilla coconut snowball for the 1st time and loved it
Red velvet twinkies coated in white chocolate. #nuffsaid
Lemon loaf cake (y)
Wonderful passion fruit Twinkies. One of the few times when I can endorse something made with white chocolate. The cake in this is just superb.
Try the chocolate with caramel on top
Everything is amazing here!
Very very cute. Def get the red velvet cake. Nice staff!

The chai latte alone is worth the trip
The snack cakes are worth a try.
Bring those twinkies to the party & you will be the star of it.
The best cupcakes I've had in NYC! The salted Carmel is my favorite. Mmmm

Stumptown coffee and no line = happiness. Also, cake.
Try the almond flour cookies- mouthwatering! And the red and white and black and white minis are perfection in a bite. Yum!
The salted caramel cupcake made me wet my pants. Delicious.
Small black and white cookie. Excellent! I have never liked the B&W before but love it. The guy who assisted me was really sweet (no pun here) and that's why I bought anything at all.
They are right, the red velvet twinkie/snack its amazing. I also had a dulce de leche cupcake...it was ok, nothing spectacular. Go for the twinkies.
Always a pleasure to pick up treats here. The staff is friendly. Love the home made Twix and twinkies. Today I'm adding cupakes to the mix. Yummy
You're going to want one of the swiss rolls, but it turns out Yodels made by professional bakers taste like Yodels. If you want your mind blown, try the pecan bars instead.
These cakes look even more amazing in person.
Not up to par with NYC's other specialty cupcake shops.
Tasty Brooklyn blackout - perfect chocolate hit. Does soya cappuccinos so v.happy.
cupcakes are a bit sweet for my liking, but their snack cakes are spot on. Definitely recommend their lemon snack cake (others call them twinkies). They make customize fondant cake too. $2.95/cupcake
Known for their snack cakes, but the black and white cookies are awesome.
Brooklyn blackout cake
The people who work at Empire are fun/pleasant to deal with before you've had your coffee—rare to find in NYC. And the tip jars question makes me laugh every time. Also Stumptown coffee a major plus.
The red velvet cupcakes are to die for!
Chocolate-dipped snack cake rivals the Chocodile
Make sure to try the red velvet twinkie (not its official name) and the home made twix bar (the workers suggested that one). Both are extremely delicious.
The salted caramel cupcake is everything. de-lish.
Lemon snack cake induces labor.
Red Velvet Twinkie, nuff said.
Taste-wise I've had better. But there's no denying their creations are beautiful!
Their oatmeal cookie has these dried apple pieces as well as raisins and choco chips, so good!
Small ass cupcakes.
Red Velvet Twinkie, A MUST!!
The red and white cookies are everything!
