Nothing is really good here. I ordered a milkshake that looked (and tasted) like wet sand. The employees are super rude (they forgot my order and were pissed when I asked about it).
Looks like a great place to get work done, but the mental institute next door tends to attract some questionable people walking around in front. Locally sourced coffee. No line at 8:30AM.
It's annoying but kinda fair that they give you tickets every 2 hours to get wifi, and you have to buy something to get it; but it's unforgivable that they switch to 1-hour tickets when it's full.
Great cafe with very nice staff.Shame about the music - bit too rocky for my liking - I prefer the starbucks collection of oldies.Good wifi! Not many vegan options but a few that can be made vega
the cubano. the best chocolate croissants in SF, period. tuesday $10 beer flights that rock w/a roulette pairing of foodz. VERY geek friendly. and no attitude. total win.
Cute little coffee shop, nice quiet atmosphere. Coffee/latte is pretty good. The people who work there don't seem to friendly or happy to be working there though.
During the day, grab the Chai Latte and get some work done at the window seat. Once happy hour arrives, they have some great brews on tap.
Has this nice independently run feeling. Not the same hipsterism as say in Blue Bottle, but more rustic/unpolished. The coffee is very tasty indeed.
Always a good place to hangout for a bit. Nothing special about the food or coffee as far as I can tell, but they have a nice couch.
The coffee is amazing (get the Cubano), and the customers are too! Some of the friendliest and smartest people in the city hang out here.
Their hummus sandwich is fully vegan and their other "veggie" sandwich can be made vegan. They don't always have their (homemade) hummus though!
Nestle into a comfy couch at this techie hangout, and you might overhear the next Twitter being born. While you’re at it, order the lamb sliders--they're not a house specialty for nothing.
The playlist right now is fantastic. Gotta admit.. this pump-up music and the cool tech guys to my left are better fuel for productivity than any cup of joe
If you know what a cubano is...then don't order it. Otherwise the latte was gr8, a bit snobby but that's what you expect from a SF barrista
The food is really great, staff is really nice, coffee just doesn't cut it though. But do try the poached eggs :)
Their americanos are the best I've had in the city. Also try the chicken pesto panini. I come here way too often..
This café uses beans from Barefoot Coffee Roasters and also has outstanding small plates like a crab salad bruschetta.
Good coffee, wifi and friendly staff. A great place to get some work done.
How much time you get on WiFi is based on how much you spend. For example, you get 1 hour if you spend $10 or less. Better than cafes with no WiFi at all!
wifi is limited to one hour and you can only activate one device. so if you're coming with an ipad and your computer, that's not the right place.
They have Strongbow in bottles - one of my favorite ciders from my home in England. Happy hour at 4 p.m.
Great spot to work. Free wifi (2 hours) and lots of outlets. Coffee isn't great, but it's decent.
If you get the cheese melt, be sure to request no goat cheese as they might otherwise put some in it.
Now serving Chromatic Coffee beans from San Jose. French press on tap is great to go.
You'll need a wifi code for EACH device. You can't use a code for your phone and computer.
Get to know the baristas, they are the best in town. e.g. Ask Jasper what he can do with a laptop.
Food ok, coffee not so much. Better options near by. Wifi was terribly slow and only valid for one hour.
The Americano is great- quality espresso beans. Quite a relief from most places in town. :)
This is the best coffee shop in SF if you want to work. Free wifi and lots of outlets.
great music selection, staff very friendly (cute the blond girl) and good food! must go!
It's rarely ready at 7:30am in weekdays though posted to be open at that time. Come later.
Try the Soy Latte - Barefoot Coffee and my tenth free one -- what's not to love?
All the food is good. Chicken pesto sandwich, pulled pork, lamb sliders, pizzas
Pretty upbeat but pretty solid coffee and awesome service.
The bacon bagel is very tasty and their selection of teas is fantastic.
Amazing lamb sliders, fantastic espresso drinks, & nice friendly employees.
get a Soy Latte with three shots of espresso and skip the fake sugar - use the homemade brown sugar simple syrup ;)
The cubano is made with 100 percent pure awesomeness. Soooo good.
Great Hacker Space. Good WiFi and good food. I like to work here.
If you are lucky you will have fresh squeezed orange juice.
The food here is pretty terrible. Just come for the atmosphere and wifi.
the cubano is not a cuban coffee, stay away if you seek an authentic cafecito
Just had the mixed green salad with chicken. Large portion and delicious.
Always buy my morning coffee on the way to work here. Really good. Cappuccino and Cubano are pretty good.
Fast wifi and great food. Can't really ask for much more.
Lunch of Chicken Pesto. Side Salad. Dinner of Sliders Side Salad. Key to the creation of http://letsdrinktonight.com
Try the Lamb Kebab - with yogurt, chutney & rice. God must be Turkish!
