They smear a hefty amount of cream cheese onto a bagel and top it with four strips of good bacon and chopped chives. Chase it with an espresso and our headache and shame are knocked into submission. Read more

Nothing is really good here. I ordered a milkshake that looked (and tasted) like wet sand. The employees are super rude (they forgot my order and were pissed when I asked about it).

Looks like a great place to get work done, but the mental institute next door tends to attract some questionable people walking around in front. Locally sourced coffee. No line at 8:30AM.

It's annoying but kinda fair that they give you tickets every 2 hours to get wifi, and you have to buy something to get it; but it's unforgivable that they switch to 1-hour tickets when it's full.

Cute little coffee shop, nice quiet atmosphere. Coffee/latte is pretty good. The people who work there don't seem to friendly or happy to be working there though.

During the day, grab the Chai Latte and get some work done at the window seat. Once happy hour arrives, they have some great brews on tap.

Has this nice independently run feeling. Not the same hipsterism as say in Blue Bottle, but more rustic/unpolished. The coffee is very tasty indeed.

Always a good place to hangout for a bit. Nothing special about the food or coffee as far as I can tell, but they have a nice couch.

Their hummus sandwich is fully vegan and their other "veggie" sandwich can be made vegan. They don't always have their (homemade) hummus though!

The coffee is amazing (get the Cubano), and the customers are too! Some of the friendliest and smartest people in the city hang out here.

Nestle into a comfy couch at this techie hangout, and you might overhear the next Twitter being born. While you’re at it, order the lamb sliders--they're not a house specialty for nothing.

Feels like a college cafe where you can stay there and study or work all day. But their latte lacks body and tastes very watery.

If you know what a cubano is...then don't order it. Otherwise the latte was gr8, a bit snobby but that's what you expect from a SF barrista

This café uses beans from Barefoot Coffee Roasters and also has outstanding small plates like a crab salad bruschetta.

How much time you get on WiFi is based on how much you spend. For example, you get 1 hour if you spend $10 or less. Better than cafes with no WiFi at all!
