a great looking place. lots of turtles in the pond, and lots of weird esoteric stalls in the jungle.
Botanic garden inside
Fast trains to Valencia (1:50 hours)
Little vegetarian food options after security. Pretty disappointing.
Very very beautiful railway station
Love the gardens in the main hall. Food and service is a bit disappointing though.
They offered shops and restaurants... The place is really beautiful and the garden there so cute...you can see the turtles ...
Great station. Very functional and efficient
Beautiful views & great set-up
Botanical garden with water turtles inside a train station, woahh!
Too crazy for my taste. Two different floors, poor food offer (6.5€ for a Spanish omelette sandwich) and a bunch of people swarming around all lost. But the turtles are very cute.
Very big and nice station. If you want to go to Barcelona or Sevilla just take the AVE and in 2-3h you are at your village/ city/ town.
Restroom costs you. Be prepared.
let´s do some work soryy madrid i don´t have much time to do sightseeing next timee on my way to valencia my beautifull cityyyyyy
A huge port that connects you to all parts of Madrid and different parts of Spain. Clean and easy to navigate.
Very beautiful railway station like orangery
Beautiful station with a relaxing botanical garden inside.
Becarefull to taxi drivers
Los Tortugas! 🐢🐢🐢
A bit confusing how to get to the right railway section and the roof in the main area is leaking so watch out that it doesn't drip on your head!
Exotic garden inside the main hall! And there are really a lot of turtles in the water!
Beautiful botanical garden inside the train station. Don't forget the turtles.
Get the city map, metro map from the information center. Taxis are plenty but be careful. The taxi driver I got was not honest. Short changed me and when asked for the difference, just drove off.
Nice architecture. But the reservation process was sooo slow. We waited about an hour and half to get our ticket to Barcelona.
After they rebuild the toilets all is good and from a high standard
Renfe... Where do I begin... In short- i would rather drive. Expensive, no info, rude customer service
Automated luggage storage located behind Aviary. After inserting your bags, you pay for the first day and get a coded ticket. There is a security guard with a security scanner for added protection.
Even if u don't go out of Madrid visit this station for enjoy tropical garden with a lot of turtles
A lot of space. Very well organized. Extremely convenient way to travel in Spain.
Curiously, the original train shed has been turned into a gorgeous indoor park-like space. Worth giving yourself ten minutes to appreciate if pushing through.
The ticket machines do not seem to accept US credit cards. Prepare to wait on line an hour to buy same-day tickets. Get a number for advance ticket sales: the wait for those is even longer.
Have a look at the turtles and tropical garden in the old train shed.
Alwais big lines for tickets, just use machines, they are multilinguistic. Although sometimes certain trains are not available through the machines.
Now I see why people talk about the turtles! An unexpected find in station
There is an ok size TBS. A lot of turtles. Haha.
30 years old Spanish Tamgo
Car rental offices are in the 3rd floor above the metro station side.
The most hectic train station in Spain. Everything is on scheduled. There are two kind of lines of making seat reservation. Unfortunately, English is still uncapable here. Spanish is everywhere. :(
Rumbo a Sevilla.
Tortugas!! / Turtles!!!
Indeed, there is small Zoo with turtles in the centre of waiting area.
Stupid staff. Stupid renfe. Huge queues
Let's Go Córdoba!
Hard to find a seat while you wait. Dificil encontrar asiento mientras esperas.
