A magnificent landmark next to the Parliament Buildings on the banks of the Rideau Canal. Steps away from museums and galleries. Located in the heart of Canada's capital city, it is in the style of a French Chateau with it's turrets and copper roof.
Try the high tea at Zoe's lounge. Enjoy the pianist and take a breather. A bit pricey (as is most things in the hotel) but it's an experience worth taking away if you are visiting in town.
Scenic view on the outdoor patio, with unbelievable Martini's, cocktails (honeydew melon for example) gluten free chocolate cake and the staff is incredible. Best view to watch the sun go down.
Skip the breakfast buffet at $26 per person and order breakfast a la carte. A no brainer, but I saw a goof grab a coffee and croissant from the buffet. $26 for a coffee and croissant? Dork.
WiFi is free for Fairmont President's Club members. And membership in FPC is free, so there's never a need to pay for Wifi! Make sure you sign up before you check in.

The men's sauna burned down a few weeks ago and the men's and women's saunas are now closed til further notice! A bit disappointing!
Download the app (iPad/android) & take s history tour of the hotel. Don't miss the art deco swimming pool
Great view from the patio, pricy cocktails. Good for after work drinks in the summer.
High Tea is a must! Good teas and even better food. The scones were great.
Check out the lobby at Christmas time for beautiful decorations and multiple unique Christmas trees.
I can't believe it, they charge $15 per day for WiFi access! Never had to pay anywhere else.
Stay in the Presidential Suite and spend your weekend lounging and shopping at the Rideau Center! Best weekend ever, close to home!

The coffee always tastes burnt. They just can't get it right.
Charming building both from inside and outside.
Did you know that Fairmont Chateau Laurier is celebrating its centennial this year? Happy 100th birthday!

Hôtel a l'ancienne, lourd fauteuil, matelas épais, moquette... C'est classe, sobre, efficace... Un magnifique souvenir
Excellent pour les conférences : confortable, salles pour toutes tailles de groupe et nourriture délicieuse
