    GAP MILE 71- Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece, built in 1935, partially cantilevered out over a small waterfall in quiet woods. It is a very hilly 4 miles bike ride from Ohiopyle, but well worth it!

    A must see in Western PA. The house is at one with nature. The tours are very informative. There are many steps to climb inside the house.

    Make sure to make reservations for the inside of the house . Otherwise you can tour the grounds for $8.00.

    If driving via Route 40, pay close attention to the turn at 318/Farmington-Ohiopyle Rd. It's EASY to miss and there are no heads-up signs to indicate you're anywhere near Fallingwater.

    Lame save your money, tsa's rules are a god sent compares to this place. Kids are a huge threat apparently and cameras o my are weapons of mass destruction.

    While you're in the area, don't forget about the other FLW house Kentuck Knob. Very close by and much cheaper admission. Can easily do both in the same day.

    Absolutely beautiful in the winter when there's snow on the ground. Stop by the cafe after your tour to warm up with a cup of coffee and a snickerdoodle.

    If you have young children, go on the family tour at 1.30 pm. Reservations by phone only. Once a year, end of summer, there is a special twilight tour.
