Horrible service, super slow, and the food wasn't worth the wait eventually. Don't even considerate for a workday lunch if you have something afterwards, or you'll never make it!
Great but small family style atmosphere. fantastic Italian dishes. a DC staple since 1943... Make sure to try the specials and/or dessert
Calimari was excellent. Penne Vodka was alright.
Best Pizza in the World! (I've had Pizza in Rome)
Not sure what people are complaining about. We had a great time. Everyone was extremely friendly, always smiling, and very attentive. Had a great time and enjoyed all the food. The calamari is great.
This restaurant has been open since 1943, it is a great restaurant
The service was excellent and the was very very good
Pizza is wonderful, spaghetti and meatballs is great, and the bread is soft. get a reservation just in case - they do get busy. LOVE this place!
Try their individual pizzas, you won't be disappointed!
The gnocci was delicious!
Great. I will return soon
Try the Nutella pizza for dessert -- it's the dopeness.
Not sure what makes this place "famous."
No one who has had nyc pizza can say this pizza is good.
Love it still as good as 5 years love the atmosphere
Terrible service and staff with attitude
Pizza here is amazing!!!!! I have yet to find a better pizza in the DC/Northern VA area! Thanks Luigi!
Pizza was aight! Not the best though. Pretty romantic with the candles.
Apparently parties of 1 or 2 are ignored for ordering when a family walks in
Try a pizza with artichoke hearts, baby shrimp, mushroom, onion, spinach, and sun dried tomato.
One of my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Food is amazing but service is slow.
Cute little restaurant with great pizza! But get some extra napkins to wipe all that grease off of it.
Good food but the waiteress never asked if I wanted my change back?
Truly the best! Fantastic, authentic, home cooked Italian. Prices are affordable and service is excellent!
Best pizza in dc. Its a must stop when your here!
Anything with the pink sauce is delicious! A favorite restaurant for us.
One of my all time favorites since 1994. Love the olives & peppers appetizer, agnolotti di formaggio, pepperoni pizza with black olives & double pine nuts...absolutely fantastic!
Ugh! What happened to this place? Not what it used to be.
Worst service I've had in awhile. The waitresses were rude and the wait was horrible.
Dunno what it's like with a small group, but this is the worst service I've ever had in DC. And that's some stuff competition.
Spaghetti Carbonara was great. Soups were NASTY.
Pizza is heavy on the cheese. Raised crust reminds us of Chicago style.
Dont eat here. Service is super slow. We were here with a group and had a pre-set menu and it still took them 2 hours to bring out our meal. Plus the food is not that good.
Food and service were amazing
Food was terrible!!! Made my daughter sick after we left.
The worst food I be had in dc
Penne al salmon is great!
Amazing Italian food, in a small restaurant atmosphere.
