People tend to check in during these times:
Follow Walt Disney World Resort on Foursquare and be sure to check-in during your visit to unlock a little extra magic.
Dinner package seats are now in the middle rather than the sides. If not, Fast Pass it but whatever happens, don't miss it! You also may get a little damp depending on wind direction!
Use a fast pass on this one. Well worth it to not stand in that long line. You'll end up getting a great seat in the middle. The water screen is impressive! Really brings back your childhood memories.
The first show has a pre-show to get the crowd pumped up and excited. It's pretty fun. The downside is that it gets really crowded. I recommend the second show. Fewer crowds, more seats & more magic.
Do the Fantasmic Dinner Package at The Brown Derby! You Can Order whatever you want, you get a 3 course meal, alcoholic drinks are extra but worth it! The priority seating for Fantasmic is awesome!
One of the best live shows on property. See a large array of Disney characters in this show about Mickey's imagination. Watch as he faces off with dragon Maleficent, snake Jafar, and the Evil Queen.
Definitely get a fastpass for this, and arrive at least 10 minutes before tour fastpass time slot begins, to secure awesome seats. Or just buy a dinner package ahead of time; get better seats that way
Great show but it rained I mean down poured and it cost $18. For plastic ponchos. We did get a great seat cuz so many wimpy people left. If u come around 6:15 you won't have to at for parking.
Just the two of you? Go ahead and walk up & down the aisles in the better viewing areas. You will find some selfish people who are taking up WAY more space than they need. Just ask if the spot is free
If you don't mind spending some money for a meal or have a Disney Dining package, call Disney Dining and get the Fantasmic/Dinner package. Totally worth it. You get reserved seating at the show!
awesome show! they will cancel or delay based on weather (which is a lot during a florida summer). be prepared to wait. special effects are better here than epcot but the music is better at epcot
Hands down my favorite show at WDW. Beware the idiots who think it's kosher to "reserve" 2 rows of prime seats for their way-too-big family (stop having kids). It's not. Tell a cast member.
My favorite show in Disney, I watched it 6 times, and i still enjoy watching it. They add more more colorful bright lights which made more joyful to watch 👍
Show is over the top awesome. Did the dining package but wasn't happy my "reserved" seats were in the corner & had to walk a mile to get to my already crowed seating area. Shouldve waited online.
If you don't have a Fastpass + or a dinner package you are in the furthest two sections on either side. I liked it better without the Fastpass people getting the choice middle section.
If you happen to be visiting on a 2 show night, do yourself a favor and enjoy the rides until the park closes and then make Fantasmic your last stop. The second show is ALWAYS less crowded.
Beautiful show, surprisingly more beautiful than Magic Kingdom's fireworks... But make sure not to sit on the first 10 rows, especially during the winter, because you can get wet!
Use the Fantasmic dinning plan. You don't have to get there as early for good seats because you sit in a reserved area. 45 minutes before the show put us in the Sebastian section.
There's no doubt Fantasmic is the best show in WDW, much better then Wishes or any other. Get early in line or you will miss it. If it rains a lot, the show won't happen.
An amazingly beautiful culmination of all the Walt Disney classics with fireworks, water fountains & Disney characters. A MUST SEE!! Get there at least an hour early for best seats!!
It's Mickey, pyro, dragons, water screen, lasers, fireworks, and a woman with fins for feet! Don't get much better than that unless you buy some of the roasted almonds! A must do @ WDW!
Favorite night time show at Disney! Make sure to get seated at least an hour in advance. Usually shows two times a night, and the later time is much less crowded.
Pro tip: at the end of the show, go to the very bottom (closest to the water) of the amphitheater first and go to the very right. Easiest and fastest way to leave!
Never go to the first show of the evening! The dinner package is a bad deal. The seats they save are on the faaar right side. Hardley good seats for the price of the dinner.
The dining meal plan is a very good deal. Also the preshow hosted by Heather, Hunter, and Garrin is a fun, albeit a little campy, way to pass time while waiting in your seat.
If you use a wheelchair and are deaf their is only one space for reflective captioning available. This needs to be changed. Have 3 deaf friends who also use wheelchairs
It is possible to get to the show 10 minutes before it starts and still get good seats because people tend to sit far apart enough for you to squeeze your party in between.
Get there early! The amphitheater will fill up. If possible, sit where the wind doesn't blow to you as you may get damp from all the mist from the water screens!
Its really a great show if you love the characters also you may get a slight mist and the glow with the show ears really enhance the experience
Get there early on nights with one show. Best bet is to stay late and attend the second show if available.
People never sit in the very front rows as they don't want to get wet. You want a great view and great experience ? Go to the front you won't regret it!
Watch out for irresponsible stroller drivers, They hit you & act like its nothing even if you are carrying a child! There are plenty of seats so no need to rush!!!
Entrance commonly opens up to 1.5 hours before the show begins. Arrive early for center seats (benches). Amphitheater features concessions and restrooms.
Do yourself and everyone around you a favour. Turn your cameras flash OFF! Your pictures will turn out 100x better and you won't annoy those around you!
Dining package is a JOKE. Don't bother purchasing it with the participating restaurants. Buy your tickets to the show separately and get to the entrance early so you can get a good seat & save money.
It's too bad they blocked out large sections for "dinner club" and "fast pass". This essentially ruins the best seats in the house for the average visitor.
Great seating in the back for ECV, but getting in here is tricky as people like to step in front of the chair. Then they get mad if their ankles get hit. Think about it people...
Very cool, I'm 23 and I almost cried watching all my favorite princess with their princes, Mickey Mouse fighting villains, and hearing the music from my happy childhood!
Do not lolligag if your going to the first show. Lolligaggers should go to the 2nd showing when its much easier to show up late and expect a good seat.
question IS... W/ the magicbands & only 3 fastpass allowed, do you chose Fanrasmic?? I say yes along with TSM and Rock & Roller Coaster. ToT usually will have wait times drop to 15-20 mins around 4pm
They now have a great pre-show with a few Disney hosts that gets the entire audience involved. It makes the last 30 minutes before the show fly by.
Disney has 75 % of the seats reserved for purchased blue tickets and meal plan holders. Really bad move from previous setups. Lots of really mad people.
GET THERE ASAP! and it doesnt really matter where you sit, the views are equally as good as long as youre not completely squished in between people.
Go to the second show if you can. Much less busy. You can arrive about 30 min before show and get in even if the line is still down the street.
Really a hodge podge of Disney scenes projected onto a wall of mist. Some nice moments but not as spectacular as Magic Kingdom fireworks show.
Loved the show, but not the rude people and after the expense of park tickets being told we couldn't move up with our small children for the 2nd show without first leaving and then walking back up.
Second showing is much more manageable. Crowded but still plenty of seats. Really great show. Not a bad seat in the house from what I could tell.
Here is your plan: 1. Stay Chill (have a few cold ones if need be) 2. Walk in casual 3. Go to second show 4. Eat before and finally 5. Make your damn kid use the legs nature gave him!
Get there an hour early to get prime seats! It gets crowded fast! Make sure to check what nights it on. Not on every night.
Make a dinner/lunch reservation that includes VIP seating. You can show up 30 minutes before the show and still get a seat!
Great show! But if you don't like standing in a huge crowd in the dark for 30-60 minutes before, you may want to have a few drinks first.
