You come here for two things, great beer and The Office Burger, which is a piece of heaven between buns featuring caramelized onions, bacon, Gruyere, Maytag blue and arugula. Top 5 in my burger list!

Most wonderful beer list I've seen for a while. Goes well with the house burger. They're serious about their sassiness though: no substitution or deletion, no ketchup for your fries.

Do what the internet says. Take seat, order at bar, go back to seat, food will be delivered to table, enjoy. Great burger (don't add or remove anything), tasty marrow. Garlic aioli for fries was good.

For newbies: this is a seat yourself scenario, walk up and order at the bar. Don't order your burger well done, and it's probably big enough for two. One of the best beer selections on the West Side.

Cheese plate goes excellent with their Panama Rum, and the current seasonal special of soft shell crabs is amazing! Go during the day, even on weekends, for a good seat!

So beer is way amazing! But burger is overrated. Try Blue Palms in hollywood! or even the Kaliwild at 38 Degrees in Alhambra! Or the bucket in. Eagle rock!!! But hey parking is free so that is nice

The food is good, the cocktails are delicious, beer selection is really awesome. Insufferably hipster, though. And *any* deviation or request off menu (including cocktails) will be summarily rejected.

Best burger in LA? I won't contest that. The Office burger falls into the specialty burger category. The caramelized onions are a strong flavor. Fries are seasoned and served with Aioli.

Great for hanging out with friends after work, but can get crowded. Expect highish end food at decent prices for the tastiness you get. Fries come with a tasty aioli. We always get some to eat with

I NEVER make complaints but this one takes the cake. Just asked for the burger w/o cheese cuz of my allergies & instead of kindly helping they referred to their food as Picassos artwork. Epic fail.

There's only one burger on the menu. It's a great one, but it's $12.50 (so-so fries are an extra $2.50). Don't ask for ketchup. Order at the bar. Seating is first come, first serve.

Don't overlook the mixed drinks at this legendary LA beer-nerd establishment. The Manhattan (try it "up," in a martini glass) is made with Michter's Rye, Carpano Antica vermouth, and a marasche cherry

It's good. Wouldn't rush back for the burger. For all the talk, I expected it to be better. That said, loved the concept and quality, and the beer selection. Avoid the ice cream bars. Overpriced crap.

Get the Office burger. And if you're as annoyed by the seating situation as I am, stop by at 8:45 or 9 on a weekday. Lively enough but you don't have to hover for a booth.

There are plenty of other places in town with good tap lists that aren't so douchey about their substitution rules. There is no reason to put up with this place and its snotty nonsense.

Annoying: you have to hover over tables waiting for an opening as there's no waitlist. Not to mention there's no ketchup (lame) and no substitutions. However, all that aside the burgers are amazing.
