Decent cuisine but I specifically requested not to be seated in the kitchen...needless to say I had front row seats to the kitchen, I know they read the request b/c they wished us a happy anniversary
Best steak I've ever had. Chicken fried lobster was a little weird but fried oysters were amazing. the first place that knows how to pour an after dinner drink correctly, lots of ice and full glass.
Lovely restaurant. Buffalo tenderloin is the best, but start with the tortilla soup. Extensive wine list. Relax, enjoy the food and good wine. Doesn't get much better than this in the big D.
We’d like to thank chef Dean Fearing’s grandma for her delicious “paper bag shook” fried chicken, which is served only at Sunday brunch at her grandson’s restaurant in The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas.
Try the Buffalo Filet with smoked maple sauce with Dean's famous Tortilla Soup or the Southwest Halibut on lobster with crispy clams.
Best food and most friendly staff! I highly suggest the buffalo... or the halibut... or the antelope- let's be honest, you can't go wrong! And DEF don't skip dessert!
If there's one thing that’s bigger in Texas, it’s the flavor Chef Dean Fearing brings to the table. He's a graduate of the world's premier culinary college!
Amazing eating experience. Ask Paul (sommelier) for wine recommendations and for additions not on the list-- he has incredible taste!
Try the Orange Spiced Lamb Chops - Such great flavors! The couscous w red pepper Harissa & toasted pistachios is excellent !
Go here on a Sunday. It won't be much in terms of atmosphere, but you'll get the advantage of Bored/Lonely Chef Syndrome...and the amuse-bouches won't stop coming.
Try the Halibut on Lobster - Was good with the crispy crab, clams and Southwest spices. See http://is.gd/irDCcE
Wagyu beef and lobster was great!! Service, ambiance and food was all as expected at a Ritz Carlton!
Dean Fearing's eponymous bastion of fancified Southern cuisine is (very politely, very gently) slap-yo-mama good. [Eater 38 Member]
Had the lobster bisque, buffalo tenderloin and the banana pudding. Dean fearing never ceases to amaze me.
Great food, incredible service and beautiful dining room. The bar is hot!-Kenny Gilbert, Top Chef
Best desert is the movie theatre desert! Ridiculous!
Dean continues to up his game, try the new menu items you'll never be disappointed!
Chef Patton Robertson, of Five Sixty, recommends the maple-black peppercorn soaked buffalo tenderloin!
Good bar scene. Oatmeal cookie is to die for!
Try hard to resist maxing out your credit cards on these ultra-rare, $1,800-a-pound Italian truffles.
The Pheasant is fantastic when it's available!!
A perfect experience every time. I remember every meal I've ever had here.
He was great at the Mansion. Now he's at the Ritz. Might be the best restaurant in Texas.
The tortilla soup is not to be missed
Chicken tortilla Soup and shrimp taco to start
The bar has amazing people watching. It's off the chain!!
The special Valentine's day menu is incredible.
It's not just the best meal, but the best experience to boot!! Say "hi" to Dean.
Choose the buffalo. It's the only choice.
Look closely for cooking tools in Dean's modern art.
