What I like best about the ferry building is I don't have to choose. I can snack on Hog Island Oysters AND get a Roli Roti sando AND eat cowgirl creamery cheese AND get a geranium macaron at Miette.

Get coffee at Blue Bottle. Take it out back and sit at one of the benches looking out onto the Bay. Sip slowly, enjoy, and remember why you moved here in the first place.
Go walk around the Saturday Farmer's Market in the morning, eat some sample produce, and grab a bite from any of the food vendors.

Great Chilaquiles served behind the building; the food stand is called Primavera. Worth the wait in line.
