People tend to check in during these times:
We envision the Ferry Building Marketplace as a vibrant gathering of local farmers, artisan producers, and independently owned and operated food businesses and the customers they serve.
Stop by Blue Bottle and use the espresso side line for locals to skip most of the wait.
Nice shops inside .. Great Pastries n ice creams shops!!
Get yourself some oysters, some truffle salt, some.... Get it all.
A food paradise, lots of choice of food and beverages. Take a stroll and you can find lots of treasures and especially during farmer market days👍
Walk the whole thing before you make a food decision outside too bc some locations face the bay and some the middle. except at noon. Then decide FAST before it gets crazy.
You've got ice cream, seafood and coffee up in this place!!
Great place to start your day. Coffee and waffle at Blue Bottle if you have somewhere to be, breakfast sandwich or porridge at Il Cane Rosso if you don't.
A foodie paradise by the Bay. Check out organic fruit, sulphur free dried fruit, toxic free moisturizer, raw oysters, cowgirl creamery mt.tam, blue bottle coffee... What not to like? Except pricy

I took my girlfriend out on an all day date we went out to eat & she told me that she really wanted to get on a boat, I smiled from ear to ear because I already had our Ferry Trip planned
Throughly enjoyed seeing the refurbished Ferry Building with the Farmers Market. I used to work as a waiter and wine steward at the World Trade Club here 25 years ago. Good times. :-)
No dejen de ir por un helado a Humphry slocombe!
Probably the single best place for a tourist to get an understanding of Northern California foodie, hipster, coffee, and ethnic culture all in one spot. Beautiful architecture and bay front spot.
Best view for bay bridge
Toller Ort für die Mittagspause. Viele verschiedene Stände. Für jeden was dabei
Il martedì giovedì e sabato potete trovare il meglio di frutta e ortaggi californiani. L'atmosfera non è certo quella di un tipico mercatino partenopeo, ma se ci passate non vi sentirete così lontani!
Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday come and explore all the wonderful food and produce booths! So many great things to choose from.
Eat here and there and you'll get to eat everywhere.
Concentration of nice restaurants and cute shops. Go there for lunch and hang out for a while. A lot of choices to buy nice and original souvenirs from local retailers.
No domingo tem o farmers market, com degustação de frutas e outras especialidades
So beautiful with tons of great food including oysters, wine, cheeses, mushrooms, tea...name it they have it!
Lots of foodie options for the foodie to either show off to visiting friends, or for the foodie him/herself.
Always take the relatives by here when they are In town. Idea is to starting a fairy from Alameda another goto the fairy building. Get a bicycle taxi and go down to fisherman's wharf or union square
A great way to go to Jack London Square. There are many great dining options to enjoy in the neighborhood.
One of my favourite places to chill in San Francisco - buy a book from the Book Passage then grab a bite to eat & a glass of wine - heaven!
Love the market!
When Chef is in the city and looking for the best ingredients the region has to offer, this is the perfect stop. Amazing quality and variety abound throughout the Ferry Building!
A Chef's dream! Cowgirl Creamery, Far West Fungi, ACME... the list goes on and on. If you love to cook, you will be nothing short of obsessed with this magical place.
If you go to the farmer's market, don't miss all the action around the building, but don't miss going INSIDE either! Lot's of great food everywhere!
Very popular on the weekends. There are great restaurants there. Try the Slanted Door.
There is a very impressive market here with local products. Maybe you should come with an empty stomach.
The hog island oysters were great!
Always a pleasure visiting the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero by way of SF Bay Ferry boat from Vallejo to San Francisco. Interesting but very expensive dining places. Friendly people.
Great variety of local, healthier options. It gets pretty busy so the sit-down restaurants usually have wait times unless you make a reservation, but usually not too long and worth it.
Come hungry- lots of great eats!
This is a good place to incorporate in a walk-through of the whole nearby area, which is truly beautiful. It has a variety of interesting shops and good places to eat.
I really recommend this place to anyone (especially tourists)!! really lovely place :) farmers market is on tues, thurs, n sat. !!
If the blue bottle coffee line is scary, walk a bit further and you'll find a Peet's or go outside and there is a Starbucks as well.
So much good food.
Farmer's Market: Thursday: 10 am - 2pm Saturday: 8am-2pm
Get cappuccino and waffle from blue bottle coffee, and get to sit outside.
A nice landmark in the city.
The smell of coffee surrounding inside of the entire building took me back to that exact time I've been to Italy for the first time as a 7 years-old kid. Lovely setting, lovely ambiance & atmosphere.
Fresh seasonal fruit and artisinal products every Saturday morning.
Great food and people watching
