Great location to surrounding shops though give yourself and extra buffer of time to find a spot during peak periods

Parking garages always make an excellent alternative. Finding a spot to park on the street isn't always a facile task.

Usually not full, and relatively inexpensive when compared to surrounding garages.

EV drivers: enter only on Mission St; look ahead to 4 spots by entrance; if none, keep hard left BEFORE entrance to go to the basement for ~8 more spots (turn right and right again)

There's an entrance in the back on Minna to avoid the backup on Mission. You'll get in way faster.

Don't bother going up a few levels. Park in the basement. It's NEVER full. And you don't have to deal with the elevator.

Notice how all the colors have gone away? This garage uses single-wavelength sodium vapor lights like the monochromatic room exhibit at the Exploratorium. Take a photo and you'll get a sepia tint!

Just drive up to 5 or 6. That's where you can find the most open spots and park next to an elevator.

The best place to park at if you're going to Union Square, easy access to and from the bridge.
  • Please add my new page @ 4.
You'll save yourself some time if you zip up to the 4th or 5th floor. There's always a parking spot right next to the elevator.

Don't bother looking for parking on the first few floors with all the noobs. Zip up to the top floor and get out faster (plus a decent view).
