    5 Firewoods at SFO: http://www.firewoodcafe.com/sfo.html Terminal 1 & 3 (and Int'l Terminal Gate A10) are Firewood Cafes - thin-crust, made-to-order pizzas. Other 2 are Firewood Grills (bar+burgers). Read more

If by yourself, try to get a seat at the main bar. When busy there is no waitress service which creates an interesting situation if you are not at the main bar, have bags and want to keep your seat.

We showed up right before they were closing and they served us. Nice guys behind the bar. Great spot to stop before a flight!

It took a while to order, but my burger was perfect. Good side salad too, if you don't want to load up on fries before your flight.

The fish and chips were good but massive! Where I come from we usually get 2 maybe 3 fish pieces. Here there were 6 big pieces!

Ham scramble is delish. The toast and bacon were excellently cooked. Peet's is also inexpensive here.

Italian Sausage Panini -- while not really a panini, definitely above par for airport faire: grilled sausage, onions & pepper

Don't get bottled drinks, they are 50% more than similar sized fountain drinks, or go next door for way cheaper drinks for all sizes.

Paid $15 for chicken capellini, waited 30 minutes, standing the whole time bc every seat was taken. 10min before boarding time, I ask - they hadn't gotten to it. In 5min I get a MEH meal. Never again

Not a grab-n-go place to get food so make sure you have time to wait for your order. This place was so crowded that my food was already cold when it reached my table.

The bartender/cashier is the hardest working man at SFO for real! Plus, last call lasted 45 minutes. Pro or con? You decide.

Staff appeared not motivated, food mediocre, sent back corn that was black from grilling and saw the chef grinning. No excuses at all. Fries so hard that they couldn't be eaten with the plastic fork..
