Chef David Burke’s Fishtail by David Burke is an innovative seafood restaurant on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
Both avant-garde and approachable, David Burke's take on seafood is nothing short of brilliant. Try the tacos, and don't skip dessert!
Either dine downstairs in the casual bar area or upstairs in the more refined dining room/outdoor patio. Any of the lobster dishes are phenomenal but we have a soft spot for the lobster bisque.
Try the The Burger
We whole-heartedly recommend the Montauk Lobster Roll - the spiced mayo really gives this Lobster Roll a special kick! And DON’T skip dessert.
Their specialty desert: cheesecake lollipops are awesome. I'm not a fan of the bubblegum flavored whipped cream though.
refreshing fish tacos!
Fishtail burger with wasabi mayo and truffle fries.
$1 oysters/clams $5 burger $5 sangria/beer during 4-7pm happy hour at the bar/lounge area!
Best spicy tuna ever!
This is the one place you must leave some room for a sweet dessert. The cheesecake lollipop tree is waiting!
Grab a drink at the bar before dinner - the southsider is to die for!
Cheesecake lollipop tree!
Try the Lobster Dumplings - First Course
A nice uptown dinner spot with a downtown-ish vibe. Nice place for a girls' night. The fish tacos are good!
This place is great. Love the fish tacos and raw bar. Simply grilled fish with one of their delicious sauces is the way to go!
Order off the $5 menu. Nearly same size, 1/3rd the price
You gotta have the lollipops!!!!!
Ask for the cheesecake... Terrific!
Fish tacos! Sushi. Pretzel-crusted crab cake. Branding. The lollipop tree. And Willamette Valley Pinot
Try the Swedish Mule cocktail - Karlsson's Gold Vodka with ginger beer, bitters, and lime juice!
Get the mussels for the first entree on the #nyrw menu. Were great on their own. No need for the sauce it came with! Enjoy
fish tacos were GREAT! the salmon was ordinary, and the trout almondine was flavorful and yummy.
Smoked pastrami Salmon as appetizer, Scottish Salmon and coconut cream brûlée are excellent! Definitely coming back!
Average. Had the lobster and not worthy. Service is good but price for value is not there
Oyster shucking here needs work. Lobster dumplings are good.
Sit in a booth on lower level and some oysters and fun
Tuna taco is delicious. Try their happy hour menu.
Great food, great service. Sit downstairs-good energy. Request Jessica as your server. Get the Angry Tails appetizer & the taco special. Get a glass of Provocateur wine. Even the patrons are friendly.
Sunday lobster Louie prix fixe. Do it.
Food was good, not great. And definitely overpriced. Make sure to grab the free peanut brittle on the way out!
Lobster and seafood are good!
Could use a bit of better service and flavor in food. Dessert wasnt as expected or as stated in menu.
Try Lobster menu. Delicious. Nice wine selection too.
Hostess stand is towards the back of the lower level.
"Fine dining": toilet is clogged, different price for same beer on different floors.
$45 3 course tasting menu is very legit.
Great happy hour!
Stuffed my pockets with peanut brittle
Simply grilled scallops w/lemon caper sauce are perfect, service amazing.
coolest bartender- ever. even sings for you.
Basically... the only thing good here is the jalepeno cornbread. Food sucked, service sucked, overcharged... Abysmal. Avoid.
Go for dinner.... great toffee at the front hostess stand
I don't think you'll ever have a chance to eat bubblegum whipped cream.
Try the Petit Fours
Angry Lobster makes me smile
