What a great intimate environment for a show
Very small venue .... exits not well accesible in case of emergency
The best spot in Houston for love music tucked away in the Heights
Best venue in Houston
Get there early for big shows. It gets hot pretty quickly (especially in the summer), so dress accordingly.
Great venue. Can get pretty hot inside, so wear shorts. Also, upstairs it's much cooler and there's more space to chill and dance.
Nice venue for small concerts. Good vibe and atmosphere.
Such an awesome experience and a memorable moment in my life when I saw The Dillinger Escape Plan perform downstairs at Fitzgeralds, great bands, great venue, good people
When you leave, don't forget ur card... :(
Great bands & fair prices. Be careful parking in the neighborhood, always good to cab it.
We will have these screen printed posters at our show on Friday January 3. Looking forward to getting back to Houston, wonder if Rusted Shut will show up.
Ask 'what's on tap?' Bartender rolls eyes, 'It's on the board.' Sorry just a customer.
parking here suckkksssssss. Also the sound in this venue is pretty horrible too.
Truly one of Houston's many hidden gems if not the Crown Jewel.
This place is cool but it's very poorly managed. Don't open doors on time, very little information given to patrons, and they leave you waiting for shows nearly 2 hours after doors. BOOOOOO Fitz.
Have a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale!
Potbelly is the bomb.com, show up early to find parking!
Bar tender is an ass. Under staffed venue. Long line for a beer and lots of attitude. Other than that, great music and artists!

Drinks are way to expensive here :(
Your bar tab is good both upstairs & down. Check the other floor for shorter drink lines.
We Use The Inside Stairwell As A Loading Dock.. So Yes We Are Handicapped Accessible... ;)
Microphone check, one two... What is it??
Watch out for an older Indian dude who my friends and I have referred to as "Butt humper" for something like 10 years now.
Real Nice Venue! Great location.
Best booking in town right now. Parking still sucks. Take a cab and get your cheap drinks on.
Tuesdays. Great cocktails. Open jukebox. Go.
Academy Black FTW!
Be careful where you park. New restaurants parking not welcoming fitz patrons
Anybody from Cleveland? This place is like peabodys. Just like home
Come support your local artists at open mic nights!
Big improvements since the new ownership have made this a great venue to see regional touring acts at. They're also pretty well stocked in the beer department now!
10:30 AM Sundays, Sojourn Community Church meets here. Good people and refreshes the soul. PS God loves Houston.
Great evening with Robert Ellis playing music as well as Larry Sepulvado and Austin Sepulvado!
Motel across the street is currently shut and has given venue permission for overflow parking. my car wasn't towed or ticketed 3/19/11
If it's a busy night and the bathroom actually has TP and paper towels, stash some in your purse. You'll need it later.
Under new management. Much cleaner, better shows and still has that good 'ol Fitz vibe
Pay cash at the door for shows. If you use debit they tack on huge service fees
Watch great bands play
Check out Doomsday wrestling, it's stage performance at it's best.
Good bar and good music.
