Not too over the top and not too simple either. Nice for catching up with a friend or a fun cocktail party. -Emil Gampe, Launch My Line
Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. Go for the cocktails -- we like the manhattan. They're some of the very best in the country.
Go to Flatiron Lounge and reserve the downstairs room for a large group.
If you want a table to enjoy your deliciously and expertly made cocktails, make reservations ahead of time. We love the Beijing Peach and the Dark & Stormy.
Great place for that 3rd date or if you have a friend who just got laid off and needs a cocktail. Vodka and cucumber lovers - get the Miss Lynn.
Had 1 too many!
don't get offended when they give you a glass of water. you just might need it.
Great mixology place. Tell them the type of liquor you want and how you want it to taste (sweet, sour, etc) and voila.
Great place for classic circa 1940's NYC drinks & atmosphere
Loving Cup is perfect if you're looking for something fruity and not too strong.
If you’re looking for style in midtown New York, hit the Flatiron Lounge for a few hours.
The bar has been around for ages, and the cocktails are consistently excellent. Cocktails made with Hibiscus?! Thumbs up.
Ryan is hyperknowledgeable about cocktails. Best cocktails I've had in NYC - and they come with a history lesson!
This is a pretty good alternative to Little Branch or Raines Law Room. This one seems a little more mainstream and has less of the mystique and raw style of the aforementioned speakeasies.
This place is just not that great
The tunnel area at the front of the bar is a sort of whispering gallery -- the conversations of others far from you will occasionally travel over the dome and right into your ears.
Straight metrosexual pickup bar.
A good spot for a cocktail during the week but avoid during the weekend. Douche-central.
Pricey cocktails. You'll feel just like a Real Housewife. Slap someone!
Ask for Paul - best bartender in the joint!
Absent-minded ftw. Crisp and citrusy. Best cocktail I've had in quite a while.
This place is pure hotness due to being packed with all that is luscious and their great cocktails. Purrfect for a girl's night out or place to go with a sexy someone. Me to the Ow!
Two failed martinis and and eye rolling cocktail waitress. Pass.
This is not the type of place you ask for a vodka soda. Ask Bryan to recommend you a drink! He is King of drink mixology.
Don't bother with the menu - just sit at Ryan's end of the bar and tell him what base liquor to use. The flights are also amazing
Old Ironsides is a solid bet for a whisky lover looking to take a sidestep to RumTown.
Two words: Carroll gardens (not on the menu but my fave)
Felt like I went back in time to my twenties. Two martinis later and I was heading for home.
Would like to go back here
Hit up the Flatiron for swank drinks on tuesday night then head next door for Dance Manhattan's free swing night. Live up the return of the great depression with speakeasy style
I like the cavern style and tranquil atmosphere. Reasonable prices
Incredible. KJ will take great care of you.
Hot Toddy. Get it.
It's kind of half assed. Scenery, not classy etc
Manhattan was highlighted on TimeOut New York
Siegert's Swizzle is one of TimeOut NY's best cocktails in 2013
Been here numerous times, great place to hang, have a few drinks and relax :)
great drinks and great decor . Art Deco bar.
Super delicious cocktails and really knowledgable staff. Two thumbs up.
Ask for Jared he makes a mean cocktail
Dark art deco interior space. The drinks are delicious, especially the Pimms Cup!
bartenders here are awesome.
The Southern Gentleman is out of this world. Perfect mix of blackberry and mint!
Best Sidecar in Manhattan,or try the Vieux Carre.
Great bartenders and cocktails. Atmosphere is refined but laid-back, though it can be random some nights. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but a good place to stop if you're in the area.
