We created Flying Star because we needed fresh, tasty coffee served in a bottomless cup, comfy seats with casual, competent service that didn’t get in your face. Most of all, we wanted a place where dessert was first and the food was something you could really get your taste buds a...
Free wifi, droll-worthy desserts, and excellent coffee. My favorite café hands down.
Sometimes we visit just to stare at the incredible pastries and desserts behind the display counter. I really love the vegan choices on the main menu.
Good for people watching, but the food will cost you $$$$.
I have always had a good experience here. I've come here to eat as well as to do work. The prices are a little high, though. The wifi has never given me problems and is fast.
A bit pricey for a 'cafe.' The food is pretty good though.
The Buddha Bowl is yummy!
Try the organic oatmeal
Great place to plug in for a while.
Great place for meeting awesome atmosphere 6micfilms.net
Dog friendly! You can hook your dog's leash to the ground next to your table outside. Super friendly staff, too. The Buddha Bowl is super filling and healthy. I got the smaller portion. Huge burritos!
The Eggs Florentine are absolutely mouth-watering delicious. HIGHLY recommend!
Baby flap jacks with fresh strawberries. Delicious and healthy.
Skip the crappy coffee
Sooo slow...people move like pond water here...
Well I love Flying Star and every location is pretty good with the exception of this location. The cashier had no idea what she was doing not to mention her horrible attitude.
Probably the worst costumer service I've ever experienced anywhere i have ever gone, I'm so furious I feel like throwing my plate at the cashiers face. He is such a dick. I will be calling the owners
The Thai salad I had for lunch was excellent so I came back for dinner.
Ppl that work here are horrifically snobby
Great area to meet clients and work on new deals | @6micfilms | 6micfilms.net
Love the fruit tart. Thai steak salad wasn't that great. :-(
Bread pudding! Yum!
Fantastic parking lot. Wifi permeates through the walls of the building. Staff will wave at you on their way into/out of work.
get a frequent flyer card and order off the kids menu, you'll get a 5 dollar reward after spending only 25 bucks instead of 50!
I love to go to the library then stop here for coffee after.
For downtown open office hours and Rio Grande IGDA meetups Tuesday mornings - and other meetings from time to time. Spacious and an ideal work/eat combination.
The mac and cheese is amazing.....get it with the grilled chicken.....super delicious!!!
Other than their coffee, there is nothing terrible. Just nothing spectacular. Even their WiFi is intermittent. Yet, their prices are ridiculous. $4 Coke. $9 breakfast burrito. Really?
The new Five Spice tofu is delicious! And I'm not even a vegetarian!
Mac m cheese rules all else
On the way there right now
They are really proud of their food and drinks here.
Red Stuff is always a sure bet.
The handheld breakfast burrito... Not so handheld! Not the best either. :o(
The fruit tart is $5 but SOOO amazing! Yumm
Total rip off.
Always great food, mediocre coffee. Try the mac 'n cheese. It will change your life.
Try the Mexican latte, but stay away from the ugly muffin
The Ice Java will get you going!
Best bread pudding EVER!
It's always a little expensive here, but its a great location.
