Food's pretty good, and the interior and ambience is pretty swank. Decent prices and good service. Not a bad place to drop in if you're in the mood for 'modern chinese fusion'. 7.5/10

Their service is good. I love their food. This 三杯鸡 is yummy. Their set come with soup n some small dishes, which are all nice. The 卤肉 on top of rice is very yummy too.

Fong Lye is the place for you when you have cravings for Taiwanese cuisine or Taiwanese-style home-cooked meals. Price wise, it’s reasonable as the food portion is quite big. Read more

Frequently packed during dinner and weekend. Long queues outside. Get a number and menu from the staff to place your order first. After you get a table, food will arrive quite quickly.

Everything was great! One of the few restaurants who live up to its hype and long queue. We loved the grilled chicken and oyster dish.

Try the Fong Lye at the left side (instead of the front), it has a black pig at the entrance. It's more expensive but it ha ala carte menu as well as steamboat!

They will serve lime juice to customer who waited so long, it's absolutely free! The restaurant wasn't so big, it's always pack during weekend and public holiday. They don't accept credit card ya!

The braised beef noodles tasted like they had been marinated in a foul concoction of vinegar, horse saliva and rotten tomatoes. Beef had the texture of an old shoe that was falling to bits.

A great place for fresh seafood hotpot. Service is swift, without the waiters suffocating you by watching you eat. If you are in a fairly large group this is the place for communal eating.

The staffs in The Gardens are extremely rude. The workers are showing rude hand gestures at us and scolding indirectly in their foreign languages just because we finish our meal around 10.10pm

IMHO, this place is over-rated. The Taiwan burger sucks, fried squid is oily and thick batter... Maybe we didn't know what is good here but first experience failed. Esquire Kitchen trumps this

"We do not sit incomplete parties" literally means you have to queue forever if your acquaintance doesn't turn up on time. Adiós and move on to other eateries to end the agony.

Try the black pepper bean curd set . Heavenly delicious dish to eat with rice. Great service, just the seating area very close to one another.

Do not order six pax of steamboat set, unless you're with more than four person. You can't finish it all with deserts given.
