    If you go there regularly and buy multiple series, sign up for their subscription box, that way you won't be an issue cause you were too busy to go there.

    Some of the bigger fandoms like Game of Thrones and Doctor Who have their own product sections near the front near the glass displays if you're looking for something specific

    Not what it used to be. Singles selection can be tricky, but most desirable trades are in stock. Seems to focus more on toys, accessories, etc. lately, and feels less homey than their old location.

    Too many backpacks in too narrow aisles, but fills a big nerd hole in the Union Square area. Better than their old corner lot, but wish they'd open up the basement level for back issues.

    So much more than your basic comic bookstore, Forbidden Planet carries many types of genre literature, including some special editions of the greats that you can buy for lower prices!

    You only have to be a kid at heart to appreciate the vast selection of comics, graphic novels, science fiction, manga and anime. There are collectibles, posters, T-shirts, toys and games.

    Get organized and keep stocked! FP while a great institution needs to work on keeping graphic novels in stock. I hate going and seeing the same books over and over. Like The Boys novels 2,4, and 6.
