    You can purchase a combined ticket for the Colloseum and Forum Romanum here. It's cheaper and you get to skip the long lines. I also recommend having a guided tour.

    Make sure you get there at least two hours before closing time so that you have enough time to see all. When it is time to close they will kick you out and you won't be able to visit the entire place.
