Galveston Island State Park
St. Hig. Park Rd. (State Park Rd 66)
"Nice place, camping site is a bit too close for my taste (neighbor to neighbor). Rangers are nice and friendly. Not too much for trails but the sea wall proved great for this."
2700 Ave. O (27th St.)
4th St. (at Albacore Dr.)
"Snow Cones @ Refresqueria located at 700 Seawall. They are tasty & least expensive ones around!"
Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier
2501 Seawall Blvd (at 25th)
"Pleasure Pier is a great addition to the island. It can be kind of expensive though. After eating lunch, paying for rides and games and snacks and drinks throughout the day, I spend close to $100."
