Best running path in the area. Circle around the hill is just about a mile. Try uphill too for an extra challenge.

The restrooms located at the visitor center at the top of the park are closed. There's restrooms located in the playground of the west side of the park

The historic site was Brooklyn’s first park and is now a tourist attraction and a neighborhood hangout for students, cyclists, joggers, and families.
If you have a dog, kind of a must on weekend mornings before 9.30AM.
Fantastic park to rob folks of the new iPhone 5s! Exit the Park via Myrtle Ave after robbery into Walk Whitman houses for easiest escape route.
Fall Foliage: Take the steps to the Prison Ship Martyrs Monument to take in spectacular views of the changing leaves of elm, oak, ginkgo and osage orange trees.
Watch the dogs off leash daily 7 - 9 am

I love this park! Come back for the farmer's market on Saturday mornings. Hit up Walter's for a snack. Notice the placards marking the "tree trail" - there are 20 different kinds of trees here!
The first thing was, I learned to forgive myself. Then, I told myself, "Go ahead and do whatever you want, it's okay by me."
Run off-leash between 9pm-9am at this park. Slight elevations throughout the park keep it interesting for the dogs and the humans!
People here really don't like it when you try to ride their dogs like a small horse.
The grilled cheese truck is a lie! Came here on a Sunday and it was nowhere to be found.
