    If you are looking for a fort or port anyways, just stop looking arround. There is no fort, its just the name. Don't expect too much and always keep in mind that you are still in India.

    Its small but peaceful and heavily packed during December. One of the major tourist destination. Not just because of the beach... Shops, Chinese fishing nets, food, cafes, art galleries.. N so on..

    Hardly a beach. Just 200 meters or so. If you are in Cochin and want to see a beach, I'd recommend the Cherai Beach. 30 km from town.
