    Also known as "Frat Mason" this is the Marina bro counterpart to the Mission's Dolores Park. At least walk through it along the coast. At most, eat a sandwich with a beer on the lawn.

    If u are visit the upper part of Fort Mason @ Bay & Franklin keep in mind there is road construction happening. Driving in/out is a little confusing at the moment.

    A lot of skunks call the big meadow their home. See them frequently, never seen one agitated by people walking around.

    Go have a picnic behind the Hostel at Fort Mason. There's a quiet green space behind the building above the tourists with views of the bay, an old canon and picnic tables.
