Chicken and waffles. The breakfast version has boneless chicken with a whole waffle, while the dinner has bone-in chicken and half a waffle.

The reviews here strongly recommended the strawberries cream stuffed French toast, but I beg to differ! It was too sweet for my taste, and I've had better stuffed French toasts elsewhere!

Great spot for brunch! I highly recommend RSVP beforehand since there is always a line. I highly recommend the chicken & waffles! But you can't go wrong with other items on the menu.

Definitely RSVP beforehand or expect to wait in line for a very long time. Got the breakfast chicken and waffles, chicken was flavorful, waffle was light and crispy. Service could've been better.

They serve full menu at the bar. The french press coffee is great with the beignets.

    Bread appetizers 👌🏼

Dank Chicken and Waffles with wonderful pairings of mac and cheese and white gravy. The bacon wrapped dates are a must as well as the beignets. This place reeks of culture that we all desire.

By far I would consider it one of the best breakfast and brunch location in DC😍😍 but try to make a reservation before you come because it can be crowded during the holidays.

Forget the famous zero star review. Good food, enough of it, and not that expensive. Mac 'n Cheese is good, as are the grits. Expect a crowd. Consider a reservation.

The Brie bread with Apple was really good. We tried the farmhouse platter. The corn and ribs were very good.

"We don't sit incomplete parties" is a really stupid policy, particularly when it's a party of TWO.

Over hyped. Food was good but service is a mess because of too many people. Inconsistencies abound.

Chicken and waffles are so good. Also the cornbread is $5, a huge portion, and has actual corn kernels in it, how awesome is that. Mac and cheese side was meh tho.

Everyone is raving about the stuffed French Toast, but it's the worst I've ever had. It's hardly stuffed at all, it has less stuffing than a Twinkie. I'll give it one more try for dinner.

Rather than wait over an hour for seating, try the open bar - first come, first serve! You can order from the menu there too! Can't go wrong w/ the Eggs Benedict or the chicken waffles + Mac & cheese.

Everything here is made from scratch, even the alcoholic bitters! Try the corn bread for $6. Reserve a table to avoid an hour and a half wait.
