    House-made Cavatelli and Escarole & Cannellini Bean soup is freaking amazing! Interior is cozy and warm. Beware: waiters are over-attendant but the food is so good that you will pay no mind to them.

    This really is a good place but you have to make it work for you. Play around with the menu, the food is great and the coffee is excellent (it's stumptown)

    Get the arugula and fresh mozzarella salad, the mozzarella is delicious! The anti pasti, superb (one of the best prosciutto!), the sandwiches are delectable! pastas: the cavatelli or papardelle!

    If you've never been, I recommend getting the polenta with red peppers and sweet sausage. That was my first meal there, and it's been a love affair ever since. Sandwiches are great too!

    I've had the cavateli sausage dish over 30 times. It's great. Grab a carafe of the house red wine and for dessert... the plums in marscapone are unexpectedly fantastic!

    Cavatelli every time. And the ricotta, local honey, and black pepper crostini. Amazing! Stumptown is great after dinner too. My favorite restaurant in New York.

    Nice little Italian restaurant and great for brunch. Go for the farmer's breakfast and don't forget about the bacon, it's the best!

    Looking for a great white wine? You can't go wrong with the '07 Erbaluce di Caluso 'La Torrazza' by Luigi Ferrando from Piedmont. A stellar wine, and a great value at $32. Highly recommended!

    Start with the escarole salad... and DO NOT miss the pine nut polenta or house-made cavatelli with spicy sausage & browned sage butter!

    The bacon here is at least a quarter of an inch thick - a must at brunch! They also brew delicious Stumptown coffee.

    The cavatelli with hot sausage is good stuff. End your night with the vanilla bean creme brulee. It had perfect notes of vanilla.
