While listening to incredible jazz at Lincoln Center, look behind the stage through the floor-to-ceiling windows for views of Central Park. Go for music and a drink before getting a meal in the area.

Get a table at the far corner of the bar - best kept secret with the best view of the stage, no need to wait for a table. The cover charge is reduced for the late night shows.

Book ahead. The bar seats are OK. Food/beverage minimum. The southern cuisine is superb. Servers can be distracting, ask to sit on the left side of the room in front if bothered. Late night is great!

Absolutely the WORST service we've EVER received. Being one of the first seated, 40 minutes until our waitress shows up to offer us excuses and to argue! Just disgusting.
