It's best if you have some knowledge of German food. The menu is in all German, and the English translation has German words as well

Always a joy. Amazing German and German inspired dishes, great beer selection, and the staff is very charming.

Cod cakes, sauerbraten, rouladen.. All spectacular. And don't forget some streudel for dessert!

I enjoyed the German beer they had on draft here paired with the "perfect glass, served at the perfect temperature and placed on the perfect coaster" ;-)

Food and service are fabulous. the pay at the table feature is horrible esp if you use a card. The device the waitress uses has "suggested" tip amounts. It's kinda awkward with her standing over you.

Don't bring your own bday cake in unless you want to be accosted by the hostess.

Great jagerschnitzel. You'll need to east salad for the rest of the week though. Rich!

Horrid!! Schnitzel was burnt, red cabbage was definitely NOT the same recipe as the old Friesenhaus. Beet salad was sliced canned beets on lettuce..... If you want good German don't go here!

Great authentic German food, but don't come on a Friday or Saturday night or you'll be subjected to authentic German music.
