Can't beat free culture.
I can't believe this place is free.
Best Seattle museum! I love this collection and how it's displayed
Free to the public
Free admission. Free parking. Free wi-fi. Yummy cafe. I think this will be my new "office" when I'm between clients in the Capitol Hill/downtown/First Hill area. Makes me happy.
Frye showcases mainly German painting and sculpture from the 19th century to the present. See breathtaking pastoral landscapes from Fritz Baer and Francois Cachoud, or attend one of the many lectures.
Order their halfsies: sandwich & soup or salad. Curry chicken salad is always good!
Happy hour Thursdays!! yes! (and great food)
See the Buster Simpson exhibit before it leaves on Oct. 13. It will change the way you see the world!
Be sure to leave a donation on your way out!
Buster Simpson, publicartist/environmentalist exhibit, worth time to go out of your way to see & it's free, so is parking across the street!
Great inexpensive way to spend an afternoon with the family
A very good small museum. Don't forget to tryout the café.
Free y'all. FREE.
Cafe happy hour specials starts at 3pm
The Frye in Seattle. Worth visiting!
Free half hour guided meditation Wednesday's at 12:30
Closed on Monday
Compare the "Paradise" exhibit with "Tete-aTete!"
Frye Art Museum is always free of charged, was opened as a museum by founders who had that goal in mind. Always worth a visit, I try to visit a couple times a year.
Free admission, free parking and a great gift shop!
Happy hour on Thursdays!
Go to the Frye and count how many paintings are on the walls. If you exceed 125, go have a glass of wine at the Cafe.
Check out the German Romantic paintings. Not very romantic though.
Don't miss the great soups at the cafe. But careful, they come out blisteringly hot.
Go see the ducks and the horses!
