Squirrel fish might sound weird, but it's really just fish and it's delicious. The Muslim lamb is great, too.

The lamb soup is perfectly spiced and the scallion pancakes are not too greasy. The Muslim lamb will turn your fingers red. Ask for plastic gloves if you're afraid to tint your digits.

Fu Run specializes in the cooking of China’s Northeast, the region formerly known as Manchuria. Consider ordering the massive rack of fatty ribs known as “Muslim lamb chop,” braised, battered, fried.

For one of the more extraordinary lamb dishes in NYC don't miss the Muslim Lamb Chop. The gamey lamb meat is absurdly tender and shreds and slides off the bones with ease. Read about my visit below! Read more

Destination-worthy Northern Chinese in a nicer than average setting. Don't miss the Muslim Lamb Chop, which is braised until fall-apart tender, rolled in cumin seeds, and deep fried.

Muslim Lamb Chop falls off the bone and covered in cumin, delicious. Pea shoots are nice and refreshing, with plenty of garlic and bite. Dumplings are solid.
