Over priced for the quality of food! Ordered a filet (medium rare) came out burnt! Husband and kinds were not at all impressed with their food either.., would not recommend to anyone!

I heard my Uncle raving about Gaidos in the 60's ... In Europe, I heard a couple talking about Gaido's as the best seafood in America. I have been many times by accident and will go back again.

I feel like there was a definite difference in sides of restaurant. "Casual" and "Fancy" sides. We were casual from the beach. We saw kids leave for prom after they ate. They weren't sittingour side.

I loved my pesto pasta. I added shrimp. Only 5 shrimp, but they were big and delicious. My bf wasn't in love with soft shell crab. Comes breaded and fried. Not sure if he ordered it fried.

The food was amazing! The Lump Avocado dinner portion was massive and quite healthy. The ahi tuna steak was perfect! The service was a bit slow. The building is old and smells like mildew in spots.

Best flounder I've ever had, it wasn't really improved by the crawfish stuffing. I felt a little sorry for him, he was probably swimming around with his friends this morning

word on the street is that Gaido's Seafood Restaurant is the best place to eat in Galveston. Also, the pecan pie is famous and can be shipped anywhere in the US.
