Masterpieces by many artists can be seen here. My favourites are the marble sculptures by Bernini. Book and be punctual or you'll have to wait for the next turn to enter (that's up to two hours!)

  • Ann-Margaret M.
Let's be honest. The art. was like a dream to see these works of art in person! It's June so it was hot and stuffy but it wasn't too crowded. Overall great experience.

Amazing gallery but the booking is mandatory. Don't forget to see also it's garden on the back where you can see again from outside the Bernini statue Ratto di Proserpina.

I definitely recommend the multimedia audio tour they offer in multiple languages for €5 if you don't go there with a tour guide. Don't forget to look up! :) each room is a work of art on its own

In our opinion, the most beautiful gallery in Rome. The Bernini statuary is an absolute must-see. Considered one of the best collections of classical art in the world -at one time coveted by Napoleon.

Impressive collection of art, but buying tickets 2 weeks in advance and not being allowed to carry any belongings inside is just ridiculous. Plus they most likely broke my camera which was in my bag

The Borghese Gallery, for all its spectacular art content, has a master's missing - Michelangelo. Scipione Borghese was only a small crucifix made by the artist, and that, unfortunately, disappeared
