Fantastic gallery in a beautiful building
Must-visit! Highly recommend the current exhibition on the ground floor. Free entry.
Beware. You can spend 'some' time here :)
If you are in City Centre and have some time then do visit GoMA
One of the few galleries I've seen that own performances and installations.
Funny Men with Head 😂
5 floors of great, thought provoking art!
Perfect if it's rainy and best of all it's free admission!
Beautiful architecture. Be sure to get a photo outside the gallery building.
Don't miss the medieval weapons room. The two-handed German sword is terrifying.
The current touring exhibition, Art from Elsewhere, is thought provoking. A must see - on until 1 February 2015.
Check out the library downstairs!
Tip top tip
Nice exhibition on Nicky de Saint Phalle work on the last floor. Very surprising to find a museum of modern art in this kind of building. This is a must-see in Glasgow.
The GoMa (as it is known) Also check out the Library and cafe, where you can also get internet access for free. The architecture is also a real treat.
GoMa, good place to spend a few hours and is all free.
The central dome
To see Glasgow under a totally different angle!
Its a great museum! The architecture is excellent! Its located in the heart of Royal Exchange Square!
Don't miss the David Hockney pieces!
Wonderful architecture (inside and out), great basement cafe and library, let down by the actual "art" which ranks high on the pretentious scale.
Sit in the café downstairs and read some graphic novels from the shelves at the side.
Social issues are a focal point of the museum but it’s not all heavy going: there’s a big effort made to keep the kids entertained.
The original interior is used to make a daring, inventive art display.
Also known as GoMa, this gallery of contemporary art is home to works by great Glasgow artists. Also check out the Library and cafe, where you can also get internet access for free.
Printer has never worked in 2011. Friendly staff always apologising.
Nicely lit up at night plus fairy lights at royal exchange square.
Café in the basement: enjoy current books and magazines for free with a cup of coffee
a refugium from the ugly poors on the streets of Glasgow.
Lovely free gallery, usually a varied range of exhibits.
Writers Group every Thursday in the library.
Если Вы, как и я, ничего не понимаете в современном искусстве, то зайдите сюда ради здания.
