Arriving past 9pm ? Go wait for your connexion upstairs in the Eurostar Check-In area. It's empty, quiet. There are standing desks, and the best view of the train station. Lovely spot.

Wifi free and to register in order to use the wifi. I like the display of arrival and departures during changing info. Very classic it flipped one by one :)

Eurostar is very nice way to travel from London. Train station is easy to navigate. Check out the bon bon stand. Get there at least an hour before your train. Customs took longer than expected

Nice place with lots of shops selling packed food for travelers. Good selection of shops selling various merchandise enough for the casual shoppers to wile away a few hours

The Mobilis is the Parisians travel card. Not advertised to tourists/visitors, but easily obtainable from the multilingual automatic ticket machines in any station. A lot cheaper than a "Paris Pass"

The train ride was comfortable. There is a bar area for drinks, coffee (no cappuccino though, only latte, Americano and Espresso) and snacks in Coach 14.

All the snack bars offer the same items but the one on the right corner, if the tracks are behind you, seems nicest. No need to arrive early.

Don't take the taxi stand on the right. Take the exit on the front and cross the street. Beware of your valuables when moving around the station and just outside.

Could use a bit of a scrubbing, but it's well located in the City; easy to walk to good restaurants and transfers to taxis and the Metro are a breeze.

If you are returning a car you rented from somewhere else (CDG)... the car park is in the -6/F of the basement garage. The entrance of the car park is on Rue de Compiègne!

If looking for the Eurostar check-in, it's upstairs through the staircase which is to the right from the main entrance. Don't get lost in the underground floors — they are confusing and smell badly.

There are luggage lockers under the main concourse (near the taxi rank). They range in price from 5€50 to 9€50 for 24 hrs. They only take coins and the change machines cannot be relied upon.

If you can't get wifi in the station (down most of the time), go across the street to Mc Donalds, where it's free, and which is also a safer place to wait at if you arrive late at night.

In search for the lockers? When facing the arriving trains, walk almost all the way to the left and look for the locker-sign on your left hand. They're found downstairs in the 'basement'.
