What can I say? The food is spectacular. The crispy egg appetizer and Filet of beef were phenomenal. What really capped it off was our knowledgeable, friendly and professional staff.
The risotto is amazing. As are the desserts. Get a lot of appetizers.
The place is small and cozy. We had the five course and left extremely full. The dishes were excellent but the service was one of a kind. Chef Danko really likes to please his guests for sure!
Risotto and chocolate souffle are amazing
3 course tasting menu is great be sure to include risotto :)
French Laundry quality without the FL price tag.
Awesome spot! Try to frequent this place monthly! If no reservations, sit at the bar! Full Menu with an awesome staff!
Quail with foie gras...amazing.
The butter cake is the BEST. And I have had Maestros and this is better. Great service in the private chef's room. Great champagne and wine choices. And the cheese was superb.
The excellent service is part of the package
Lobster, duck, scallops are must haves
Awesome experience from start to finish. The 3, 4, 5 course menu gives you flexibility to mix and match (you could do five course dessert). Try their lobster and fillet, you won't be disappointed!
Really amazing dining experience. Pick # of courses AND which ones you want. How can a tasting menu get better than that?
american, luxus, sublime!
The oysters with caviar and cream is melt in your mouth delicious. The lobster tail over mashed potatoes is a classic dish. I love coming here for birthdays. They make it special.
We eat here every time we are in SF. Food just can't get any better! I had Lemon pepper Duck Breast with duck hash celery root garlic puree, spinach, and cardamom poached pears! And Chocolate soufflé!
Get five courses
Best service and dinning experience ever. Let them know you are here for a special occasion and you'll get extra special treats.
If I remember correctly, the steals are delicious and they have an extensive wine list. Good dinner for birthdays.
Great for anniversaries and special occasions. Yummy food and specially the cheese course
Chef Gary Danko’s lemon pepper duck breast is really very good as is everything on the menu. If possible you should order the tasting menu!
5 course meal for $111/person. Meal portions are generous and the staff is very attentive. Food quality itself was pretty decent.
Amazing staff all around here. Great atmosphere and incredible food. The menu has a ton of options for a restaurant of the quality.
Vegetarians should opt for 5 course desert menu
What a fine dining experience! Be prepared to be treated like royalty. Great margaritas. Don't forget to get a breakfast muffin on your way out.
Yes the risotto was damn good, but the Dungeness crab salad and the scallops stole the show.
The oysters and caviar app is amazing
One Michelin star
You can mix & match a three, four, or five-course tasting menu. Whatever you do, order the fantastic cheese plate. – Green Guide Editor
super flexible menu - pick 3, 4, or 5 courses, mixing and matching and substituting to your heart's delight. (lobster risotto a must)
Chocolate soufflé!!!!! Get it. You won't be disappointed.
4 course is so worth it!
Supposedly the best place to eat in all of SF.
Have to do the cheese course! Pick the craziest cheese on there. You may not like it, but when will you ever get to try something like that?
Corkage fee is $40 and can bring down the cost of the meal... But the sommelier is very good (and cute, young, and Australian!)
The risotto was mind blowing!
I was pleasantly surprised that this place wasn't a marijuana dispensary specializing in The Dank.
The Port is to die for
Don't pass up the cheese, and you can have it served early or late in the meal. The lamb is excellent
Life's short: get the 5 course meal!
Risotto- melted on my tongue. Soft, creamy perfection
Excellent all around - standouts were the cheese plate, lamb loin, and seared ahi tuna app is a must!
Lobster risotto was so good
